They have been doing this for a long time and it is insane how effective they have been especially now with this covid shit. For example, there is currently a 20 point gap between the white vaccination rate and Black rate in Florida.

In late September,
CNN reported on a Kremlin-supported plot to invade the online communities of the
Black Lives Matter movement, the global network of civil rights organizations and justice-oriented nonprofits launched in the wake of Trayvon Martin’s 2012 death. The pro-Kremlin Russian firm Internet Research Agency had fabricated hundreds of accounts and bought $100,000 in ads during a two-year period; of the 470 groups it created to “exploit tensions” in U.S. elections, Blacktivist had become one its most accessible, signing on more than 500,000 followers and well outpacing the official Black Lives Matters account. That number bears little shock; it's simply a striking indicator of the movement’s unmistakable draw and necessity.
Political movements have always faced infiltration, but recent revelations point to a threat far different from sabotage.

The report details how black Americans were among the most exploited online communities by the IRA, cataloging how the Russian firm developed an “expansive cross-platform media mirage” that specifically targeted black people by leveraging popular social media sites. The campaign was “designed to exploit societal fractures” and “erode our trust in media entities and the information environment, in government, in each other, and in democracy itself,” the report states. “This campaign pursued all of those objectives with innovative skill, scope, and precision.”
A new report documents how Russian online propaganda had a much more sustained, deliberate focus on black Americans.

Before that, there were the ads on Facebook. And the account called
"Blacktivist" led calls to action for African-Americans to "wake up" and fight "mass incarceration and death of black men." And before that, Facebook users using fake accounts paid personal trainers to lead
self-defense classes aimed at black activists, arguing that the activists needed to "protect your rights."
Facebook ads and other types of racial agitation are the latest examples in a long line of information operations aimed at amplifying tensions within the U.S. that dates back to the time of Dr. King.

“[M]essaging to African Americans sought to divert their political energy away from established political institutions by preying on anger with structural inequalities faced by African Americans,” the Oxford report states.
