This long time friend of mine was talking 'bout prepaid legal the other day. He said it was like having a prepaid lawyer and legal advise for just $27.50 a month. I checked into the company, they been around 50 years and are listed on the stock market.

The reason I ask is because you can become associate and sell prepaid legal memberships and can sign on people under you to become associates. You make money from your memberships and from your members membership sign ups.

This sounds like a good way to supplement your income, but my semi-pyramid meter is kinda going off.

What do y'all think?

It's another one of those pyramid-scheme types of setups, like Amway. You can get paid if you have a large number of associates under you. I personally wouldn't use pre-paid legal because most lawyers offer free initial consultations anyway.

this girl i knew back in high school tried to put me on to it, honestly i don't trust it, seems too good to be true. i actually think its a scam. but its just what i think, i know a bunch of people in my school are getting into it

It is a legit company. Not a very good product. Most people purchase it through their company if they get it. Not a whole lot of money to be made selling it to individuals. If you can get into group sales not bad as extra income. All in all its not worth buying or selling. It is Multi level marketing.

It's a good service. I've had it for about 7 years. I bought it through Primerica. I use it quite a bit for tickets, letters and questions and shit. Last year they helped me set up my LLC. It's cool for that kinda stuff.

I had a cousin get locked up a few years back. He has it as well. I think he saved a couple of nickels on his litigation, but not that much. The basic services is where the value is. They offer discounts on other fee-based work, but how do you REALLY know what a non-member pays, you know.
