There hasn't been a push to disarm black people. We were never intended on being armed. Now because we are innovative enough to use these laws to our advantage is a different thing, but goal is to protect whites from of the big "Black bogeyman" of today and before to prevent our ancestors from seeking freedom. We are having two different arguments. I am stating that gun ownership isn't intended for us, and you are talking as if it is for us. You can't take away something that you never had. That is why they create these stand your ground laws, stop and frisk etc.
Now, I am not going to agree with this whole premise of leading families. I would amend it to be able to positively contribute to the family whether you are together or not. That encompasses a lot more.

Who said I thought it was ok? I am pro gun control. i don't believe in carrying firearms, and I don't want or trust people walking around carrying firearms. if I am in an environment like that then I am going leave asap.
There is no such thing as a good guy with a gun. When people have weapons they get a sense of empowerment and they will behave in ways that they wouldn't normally do.

I just read that in CT...the officers do have a right to request to see his permit...that black officer exacerbated the situation tho...could've easily just explained that to the dude...this why I prefer conceal carry tho...that holster shit draws too much attention imo...wonder if they woulda approached a white guy carrying an assault rifle on his back lol

They have a right to request, but are you compelled to comply ? One is not the other, and I have a feeling that they can compel compliance without just cause. If they could have, they would likely have locked him up, get him a charge, and get his license suspended/revoked.
