if you've never heard of this guy, you're missing out on some serious vocals and tenor sax. this issue is PERFECT for setting the mood.

320 direct rip.

Thanks for bumpin' the jazz piece. Not enough heads appreciate the sumptuous appeal inherent in the music. All this rampant "pop" bs made me turn off my radio years ago. I have a question. Clearly you recommended it.

Are we talking sonorous Roy Hargrove, Joshua Redman type ish, or we talking "lite jazz"? In any case, props.

actually, i'm a fan of the 50's - 60's era in jazz... miles, coltrane, wayne shorter, herbie hancock, etc., etc.

i normally don't listen to "smooth" jazz, but every now and then, you run across an artist like belasco or gabriela anders (ever heard of her?), and then, there's the "lounge" jazz...

check it out... post a comment after listening to "Hurry Hurry," and "Deeper."

Dude Seriously to get to the Jazz of my fathers Era, In North Carolina gotta listen to 101.1 on the Weekends, man shit like that makes my night.

This is very good.

His voice sounds similar to someone else, but I can't place it.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. Thanks again for the drop!

That's 2 for you MaxD!!!!

my dad thinks he sounds like a young marvin gaye (rip).

to me, he sounds like d'angelo or maxwell, etc. on the sax, he just keeps it simple which is what i like.
