Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

Some upcoming free agent notes from ESPN:

- Ravens are not within striking distance of a long-term deal with C Tyler Linderbaum, which enhances his chances to hit free agency.

- Colts are all-in on keeping QB Daniel Jones, who could earn a deal similar to Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold (3 years, $100M+).

- RB Breece Hall could sign a deal in free agency similar to Josh Jacobs (4 years, $48M).

- WR Alec Pierce could get a contract that pays him an average of $20M per year.

- DT Travis Jones will do really well in free agency. He is considered the best IDL in the class. A 4-year, $57M deal was floated.

- TE Isaiah Likely is expected to do well also in free agency. The tag for a TE is $15.8M and some around the league expect Baltimore to go that route.

- CB Alontae Taylor is expected to be the top CB on the market, and the Bears are a team to watch as they had interest at the deadline.

- Names who could become free agents with extensions unlikely: Broncos DL John Franklin-Myers, Chiefs CB Jaylen Watson, Packers OT Rasheed Walker, CB Riq Woolen, Jaguars RB Travis Etienne, Packers WR Romeo Doubs,

I mean they have beaten good teams in this tough schedule already whether people want to believe it or not of how good they are.
They have. I’m talking about the playoffs. Trenches matter and how good it is will determine how far they go. Just keep running the football and let Jalen run and throw a few times. They should lean on it they got one of the best in the division.

Defense wins championships, they've strengthen that getting phillips because without him, they would've lost the game against the packers not having LB who could stop the run. What could be the eagles downfall in the playoffs is their offense because of this dumb ass OC they have since the defense is good. Eagles shouldn't be struggling offensively with the talent they have on that team.

They need to use AJ brown more but this OC rather call short yard throws instead of deep throws because AJ is talented enough to catch them.

Yes, saquon finally getting in his groove but they gotta mix it up when saquon be having these 3 & outs.

Russ is older, that ship has sailed as well for him. It's not like they were winning with russ when he also got benched for a rookie. :cmonson:
Ship has sailed for Russ too.

Defense wins championships but trenches do to.

It’s a reason why Chris Jones got rings, Aaron Donald, even Fletcher Cox. Gotta have a tough interior on both sides of the ball.

Naw it ain’t nitpicking. Everyone got a flaw. Superman had krytonite. Howie just sucks at trading for other teams talent. Next year all he gotta do is draft a corner at Georgia and pray.
He's got hits and misses in his trades.

But you was taking a shot at howie when I mentioned him drafting well using some of his bad trades against him which is entirely 2 different things. So, again howie does indeed draft well because the eagles wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for him not drafting well which is my point.
