It wasn't a misstep. Bronny IS better and has more upside than some guys playing right now. Including some on his own team. And a father should believe in his son. It's only a problem when he's Black.

5 years ago everyone had a lot to say about Lavar Ball and claimed he was ruining his son's futures by promoting them so heavily and unapologetically and being brash with media. They said he was an idiot and crazy for pulling his son out of high school and having him play in foreign basketball leagues with no intention of him ever going to college to compete.
Now today, those same people are dickeating LaMelo as one of the best point guards in the league and an unstoppable force, with no mention of his father or his development. Thats pretty much Bronny 5 years from now, no one will admit they ever doubted he could be an NBA player.

That's the issue, thibs and nurse are similar in how they coach their team. Nurse isn't no different than rivers at this point.
Nurse has a tight roatation as well, he be playing his starters a lot of minutes and only put the young guys in when injury happens.
Just like rivers, nurse has only 1 ring that people like to bring up to determine if they're a good coach or not but neither of them won another ring since having a big 3 on their teams back then.
Nurse complains to the refs a lot, his rotations are dumb and he doesn't make adjustments like he should which is frustrating to watch him coach this sixers team.
