There's a limit that they're willing to go. Reasonably in my view. Once you have a weapon and you're going at them then yeah...you're gonna get shot. That should be known as a forgone conclusion. If they don't shoot you then they did you a favor.

You have someone coming at you with a knife. Fuck a taser, you could miss, the little prongs could not reach your skin, etc..... In this situation, you have to shoot center mass and stop the threat....PERIOD!
