They do t have to recast him for bp2 they can just use whatever footage of him they shot then say he got severely injured in an attack like in the comics let shuri take over from there. The. In bp 3 recast t'challa. They'll have enough time for consideration and auditions to make a good choice. I really don't want to see m'baku or kilmonger as panther. Kilmonger already did that in the first movie. Also make M'baku an antagonist again. He should stay a hero. That's mcu's problem bad enough they kill most of their good villians ever to be used again they also nerf them. They made red skull a ghost who guards a power stone they nerfed the variant Loki who could've been a good villians etc. M'baku is against using vibranium anyway so how is he gonna be the panther?Give It to Michael B Jordan Already..... the Killmonger Becoming Black Panther for the Side of Good Exists in Canon

They could have just had T'Challa and Nakia get married and do what Prince Harry and Megan Markle are doing. Give up the throne and live as regular folks. Or have him in space personally overseeing the Wakandan Intergalactic Defense Forces. Bring him back for BP3. We don't even need to use the multiverse to recast. Roles have been recast across genres before. When they replaced Darren Stevens on 'Bewitched', there was no in-story explanation, they just did it an respected the viewers enough.
I sorta agree with this. Killing the villain is kinda the point but I understand. Now with the multi-verse, we can get some heroes and villains back but they can't go crazy with it. Think Captian Georgiou in Star Trek: Discovery.
Totally agree on no recasting of BP and don't bring Killmonger back from the dead. You can bring Killmonger back, but not with MBJ in the role. Like his son or something, although that's been done to death. And you can bring BP "back" but god please not Shuri; a new actor (rege jean-page?). Folks keep forgetting there are/were many BPs. Just not letticia wright. Her acting is weak and physically she looks even worse than mike colter during fight scenes.

M' ake should still be sort of an asshole. It's part of his character. He's. It really a villian more of a rival chief. They need to keep that aspect of him.

Yes, I agree that the inter-tribal tensions should be at least one subplot. I don't think M'baku is so much an antagonist as an isolationist. He's got a bone to pick because he feels his tribe was abandoned but it seems that the kings just left them alone because they thought that's what they wanted. Anyway, a fair subplot.
Daniel Kulaya's character wasn't in Endgame or I missed him. Was it ever explained what happened to him? He could certainly take on the role of someone who you don't know if you can trust or not. A good subplot.
But the movie is, has to, revolve around a basic tribute to Chad. Much like Endgame was a farewell to RDJ and Chris Evans. It also has to introduce a new BP and not Shuri. She can take it for maybe 2/3 of the movie until she decides she'd rather be in the lab and some other person shows up with the blood and the flower. That person will be BP going forward and will fight Namor at the end part of BP 2.

I don't want them to be that fast . They can do that in 10 or 15 years there are other arcs they can explore and with the X-Men on the way they can bring in storm and do a TV series and movie centered around their courtship and masriage
I don't know about that Daniel's character is sort of his right hand man in the comics.
To me that's just like the Lois and Clark thing, why keep trying to do the straight canon off the MCU version instead
of doing the whole thing in a new way that doesn't have everyone focused on who's playing what instead of the story and epic....
Planet Bast would allow them to do a clean slate and still continue the legacy

Maybe so but in the MCU he was against him in the tribal fight. But that's fine. He can repent or whatever and be back in the picture but he could still act shady so you never quite know. Conflict is the heart of all drama. And then there would most definitely be conflict between him and Okoye. He's been working with Coogler on other stuff so who knows?

Well I think the black panther and storm relationship would be a good idea because it would promote and celebrate black love. I like the oanel from the comics where they are vacationing on the beach and they joke about someday taking over the world. Hey are a power couple if not a powerful couple. Also their courtship and marriage plot doesn't have to be the main plot point of a movie it could be a sub.plot to a bigger story. I'm thinking have their courtship can be featured between various movies in tidbits x men , black panther ,avengers fantastic four. Then shave a storm and panther Disney plus series that revolves around their wedding then everything will be wrapped up and black panther can move on to another arc without their live story consuming an entire film.
Resurrect Killmonger! Make him the new Black Panther! He rightfully won anyway.
If it's during the blip, they have an out to recast him.
