City picks Nissan model in 'Taxi of Tomorrow' race

The Ford Crown Vic no longer rules the road when it comes to yellow cabs.

City officials today will announce that they've chosen a Nissan model as the winner of a 10-year contract to be the the Big Apple's next ride, sources said.

The contract is estimated at $1 billion.
