It’s like she listened to the feedback of sounding like Nicki and now she’s all in
And lost herself in the process
Her cadence on this one
And the one she dropped after she won the Grammy definitely
Not so much on anxiety
Down to the funny voices and tone switches
I do not agree my brother.
Anxiety isn't a new record if I remember correctly?
She always had mad flows and deliveries.
And on this one she flipping Westside flow which I thought was extremely clever and showed those who diss HIS flow why it's dope and unique.
I'm a big Nicki fan. Whenever there is a rap debate I'm going 1 v 200 saying male female whatever Nicki one of the best to ever do it. Her freshmen mix tape is one the best 1st projects i ever heard.
But I honestly never put Doechii and Nicki together. Lauryn? Yes. Maybe more Missy with the flows. But even if I try to say Nicki influenced her? I don't hear it as detrimental.
That alligator bites goes way to hard god. She got her own distinctive voice.
This is the first time ever in our brotherhood I don't think I agree with you, respectfully.

Her flow didn’t alwysound like it does now and I do like her
But I also watched Nicki from her start in my homie Chuck basement
I won’t go as far as to say it’s deliberate but once I heard it I can’t unhear it
