So this season really reminded me of Castlevania season 3...

Those that watched that season know what I’m talking about.

This season of Ozarl felt like a reshuffling of the deck and setting the pieces for a massive season 4...

These shows like this and Breaking Bad are good at making u hate the wife because at this very moment I FUCKING HATE WENDY FUCKING BYRDE!!!! WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL I MEAN GOTTDAMN!!!!

Don't forget about the old hag who poisoned her husband. He saw that she was a loose cannon that would never stop at trying to win. Even at the cost of their operation. Dude just wanted peace in his old age..... but nooooo.

Man who are you fucking telling ...... I'm just on Episode 3 and already Wendy has made be say God damnit at least 7 times.

All she had to do was just be cool with the Casino they worked so hard to get. He said there would be trouble expanding and now she is up here putting honey in front of Pitbull Darlene..... Jesus
If I could get Wendy Fucking Byrde and Skyler Muthafucking White in the same place I'd..........man I hate them bitches.....

This seems to be the theme for shows like this now. White collar family gets their hands dirty in crime life... then the basic housewife turns into a lying, manipulative, power-hungry bitch. Like another said in this thread, Good Girls has the same situation.

Gawd damn that ending

So much unresolved shit...

I need that shit immediately.... I can’t wait another 2 years
I want to kick someone's ass. The ending was just too damn good and has me wanting an episode right the fuck now. Imagine being told you got paperwork about singing and you still get on that plane.:eek: Middle of that flight I might try my luck using my shirt as a parachute. Fuck being tortured for being a snitch.

Great writing for this show.

Just finished the series this morning.

Pretty Good season.

I had assumed this season, Wendy was gonna step up and make herself a asset to the operation. But she failed at that and made more of a mess.

Her brother Ben was nothing but problems from the start with his debut as a substitute teacher. It was not his fault being he is bi-polar and is a damn lunatic when not taking his meds.

The black female FBI agent was interesting. She is pregnant and I don't know if I missed it, but she gave no reference on a husband or significant other. She also was not wearing a wedding band. It's not uncommon for a woman at her stage to remove her ring because of weight gain. But she gave no reference or mentioned anything about a husband or boyfriend or if she is a lesbian and she has had artificial insemination with her partner. Her background has got me interested.

Fucking Navarro. That is one dumb mofo in my opinion. He sends his girlfriend and newborn baby to the church for the christening, but does not go himself because of security reasons. And then the mofo does not have a adequate security force to protect the church. He also has no security protecting his assets on US soil. That mofo just basically walked into that shoe store and took that place out without breaking a sweat. Then he got mofos from his crew getting their heads chopped off and dumped at his front gate. That other cartel is like the mofo Diaz Bros. from Scarface.

I'am gonna go on record and say that Ruth is gonna raise holy hell next season.

Ruth is pissed as fuck because of how the Byrdes treat her. She is pissed for what they did to Ben. And she is pissed for what happened to her Daddy.

She wants revenge.

I am gonna call it, but in Season 4, Ruth is gonna take out Darlene and seize control of her heroin operation. She will get support from her cousin Wyatt because Wyatt found out from Darlene who killed her husband. She will get support from Frank because Frank wants revenge for what Darlene did to his stupid ass son and wants revenge against the Byrdes with the mess going on with the cartels. Darlene will be season 4 major character to get killed.

Navarro has no clue on Ruth's existence, but he will when Ruth makes her move against the Brydes and throws a wrench in the plan against Navarro.

I give this show two more seasons before Netflix ends it. Netflix does not run their shows for a extended period of seasons because the cost of production goes up each season. By the time they get to the 3rd season of a series. The cost of production is basically equal to the production cost of 2 or 3 new series.

My final call is Marty will get killed in the series finale and possibly Wendy leaving the kids as orphans and put in a position to continue the operation or quit for a possible spin off series.

Great Season. Superb Acting

The fucked up thing is, Ben was a honest human being. Aside of the cat he beat up in the bar, he didn't lash out on people who did no wrong.
Fucked up thing is, its gets you thinking about what is truly right or wrong. It's all about perception. What is crazy, what is sane - Interesting dynamic they played.

How much yall want to bet Ruth is going to be pregnant with Ben's Baby next season?

My Child, are you disturbing the Lord with a prayer related to a fictional program? During a pandemic?

Do not even bother washing your hands, it is of no use.

Yeah Ruth is going to be ruthless next season. I think you hit the nail on the head about her and everything you wrote.

A interesting thing about the series is when they show "White Privilege" with the main characters.

In season one, they showed Jacob purchase a rifle. He got that retarded kid to buy it for him. The retarded kid went into the sporting goods store and brought the rifle like he was buying a bag of potato chips at 7-11. Nobody checked his ID and he dint fill out the paperwork. The clerk filled it out for him and he just walked out the door with it and gave it to Jacob.

I forgot what the white privilege thing was in season 2, I believe it had to do with the daughter.

In season 3, Wendy and Ben was caught sleeping in the parking lot by the cops. The cop wanted to get Ben and Wendy sat there giving some lame ass excuse to the female cop. There was a pause and the cop let her go without question.

Fam Ben was a fucking lunatic that def needed inpatient hospitalization! Everything they did with Ben is everything you should never do with a certified bipolar person.
great acting on the actor who played Ben. But Ben needed to be stabilized on meds.

The actor that played Ben, at first I thought it was actor John Malkovich in heavy makeup or CGI like they did in the Irishman.

Dude looked just like John Malkovich and his acting was on par with him.

Then I was like where did I see him before and remembered he co-starred in Netflix Iron Fist.

The writers did a good job portraying his severe bipolarism.

His sister, Wendy, was spot on when she was trying to explain his condition. It is like they (those who suffer sever bipolar) don't have a cut off switch and anything can trigger them. Trust me, I have seen it first hand. I have a couple of family members that are bipolar and have had the misfortune of being in a relationship with a female who was bipolar but stopped taking her meds halfway in our relationship.

I agree Ben had to go, be it is fucked up his sister had to be the one to make the call. There was no other way because even if they would have made it to Tennessee he would have slipped up again or made his way back to Ozark.

Anybody else was rooting for their son, Jonah, to take the virginity of the lawyer's daughter? It still may happen next season but it looked like they were teasing it.

Began with a slow burn but it wasnt long before i was locked in and fully engaged in this ever changing and forcing you to the edge of your seat series.
The cast is great as ever .The dynamic between Marty and Wendy Byrde (Jason Bateman and Laura Linney) is off the charts great with tensions that boil over hit the floor ,runs down the stairs and still burns your feet about an hour later.
Marylouise Burke as their therapyst is absolutely fantastic
Hats off to Janet McTeer for her laser focused performances and silk blouses.
Julia Garner turns in a tough as nails performance once again...but this time i felt her heart was wrapped up in so much of what was going on which made me feel something even more for the character.
No one will be able to deny the incredible performance by Tom Pelphrey Wendy’s brother, Ben, i wanted to council him, hang out with him and strangle him all at the same time. What a stunning rollercoaster perfomance that made me yell at the TV screen about 100 times
Praise to Jessica Frances Dukes as Special Agent Maya Miller who brang a Fargo feel to the season
Lisa Emery as Darlene Snell, take a bit of a back seat but when she's on screen she uses her time to a T
Oh and of course Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte Byrde, Marty and Wendy's teenage daughter Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde, Marty and Wendy's teenage son are great.
Bring on season 4

The naiveness of the characters on this show is astounding. You'd think they would be more sensible about their choices given their involvement in a money laundering scheme for a potently violent Mexican drug cartel.

The brother was an extreme liability. Their was only one choice to be made.

Marty was right as always...
Ben needed to go the minute he came to town...

Once Wendy told Ben the truth it was only "when" will Ben die...

a bipolar person off their meds, that knew about the cartel, was always going to be a loose end...

It's on Wendy... She allowed him to stay, which lead to Ruth and Ben hooking up and She gave Darlene an opening to interfere after her court stunt...

Yeah, if the therapist overheard all that shit and actually thought her course of action was the right one to take? :smh: The dumb ass brother. So you find out they clicked up with the cartel and think it's a good idea to confront people.

It's always annoying to see shit like that in a show until you realize SOME people really are that fucking stupid and dumb asses much be represented on tv. As long as the smart characters deal with the dumb asses the right way, I'm good. I hate when bad writers have to explain plot holes by fucking up their smart characters. Like having smart characters do dumb shit that doesn't go with how the character been behaving for seasons.
