In addition to not replacing Kidd, Chandler missed nearly 30 games as did Felton (who also had the gun charge), Stat missed nearly 30 games, JR was terrible after starting the season suspended coming off knee surgery, Shump was hurt & didn't score for shit, K-Mart was heavily counted on & only played 30 games...the Knicks were a fucking mess last year. They needed leadership at the 1, something Melo has played his best ball with.

Was the #3 pick in the draft & never missed the playoffs while there, Melo doesn't get the credit he should simply because he's not better than Lebron as Van said earlier.
