Hands down the worst temper I've ever seen and was a tru let's get it type dude was like a big brother to me when I was in.college if I got in trouble he got on me but never let anything happen to me I feel bad cause it's been 10 years since I talked to him

Damn RIP to the homie... That no limit shit was the soundtrack to my high school years and Magic was def one of the hardest ones!

The best Niggas outta nolimit not including tru was Mac fiend slim and snoop

 my nigga! Mia was up there too

My favorite track off Bossalinie! RIP to Sim & Magic :(

Let's not detail this thread

Hell yeah, this ain't a debate on the validity of no limit in rap history...showing respect to a dude that entertained many of us & was a friend to you. Don't beat yourself up too bad bro, y'all had love...that's all that matters.

Oh damn, I had to google him as I was unsure if this was the guy I remember. He was the only one from that disgraceful label and era call No Limit that I actuallly though had some skills.

This was the only song I liked from him. If true, RIP.

Remember, you have to compare this song to that whole label. Massa P swore he was 2Pac and the rest were just wack rappers (no disrespect to real rappers out there) who did not respect the rhythm of the beat. This guy had his own giommick and flow.

I believe No Limit was the worst thing to happen to hip-hop since white people. But I liked this song and dude was actually talented.

R.I.P. its crazy I just found his first album the earlier that day and was thinking about the song where he proposed. I was wondering whatever hhappened to them. Wow

Whoa what? No Limit never had no fucking wack rappers except Silk The Shocker who was P lil' brother. Man do your research bruh.....i'd put Mac up against any rapper in the game. Due to the case his time in the rap game wasn't as long as it should've been but Mac was that one nigga who lyrically could rap with anyone out of any region.

Master P and No Limit dropped some of the best albums in the 90's and Beats By Da Pound put in more work than anyone in the 90's and made quality beats as well.

Ya'll dudes trippin'...how can you claim to be a hip hop head but only know shit about one region?

 I'd love to hear your reasoning for why No Limit was bad for hip hop.

That would be 2-Pac and his fake ass....perfect example of cats who ain't "hardcore" trying to be thugs. He even made the term "thug" popular. An intelligent cat that chose ignorance. The story of many black males.

No Limit actually showed cats how to build and own(while still doing ignorant shit, but at least you owned publishing).

I don't think Tupac as as bad for hip-hop as No Limit. Tupac was bad for Black culture, horrible, destructive. Completely agreed with you, a waste of an intellect, he chose foolishness when he could have led the people towards improvement.

How many classics can you name from them on THAT label??

Won;t speak on Fiend as I never heard of him (and will not google him). I never liked Mystikal, but his biggest hit (Here I GO) was NOT on NL.

So you are saying that you thought No Limit sucked, but Magic was the best to you, yet you've never heard of Fiend? That's just like saying you think Deathrow sucked, but you've never heard of Tha Doggpound.

:lol:Most of the No Limit shit is forgettable. No Limit music was like shopping in a flea market/swapmeet. A bunch of junk with some jewels sprinkled in between. No Limit pushed for quantity over quality.

anyway r.i.p to the brother and his wife

I remember flipping through SOURCE mags, seeing nearly page is a NL album promo, and gave this nigga a chance

Dope artist,i thought his voice, and slithery flow grabbed my attention

MRRRRRRRRR MAGIK!!!!!!!!! 9TH WARD 9TH WARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya'll remember TANK DAWGS?? Mac,Fiend,Cmurda?
Thats all you needed right there:yes:

Just an horrible tradegy
RIP

Non southern niggas was mad as fuck when No Limit was running shit

Dropping albums what seemed like every week and they wa selling!

Uuuunnnngggghhhh!!!!!!

dang been busy missed this thread, RIP, i wasn't a big fan of his music, then he started doing that crazy act (wearing all those funny contacts) but i'll never forget him on rap city, spitting some knowledge and seemed like a cool good dude. My prayers are with his daughter and family.

Damn, RIP. I dug a few tracks from him but I always felt like he was a Mystikal replacement and never really got into his music.

i think master p's motto must have been, if u don't come to no limit, we'll jack your style and get somebody to sound just like you.

The best Niggas outta nolimit not including tru was Mac fiend slim and snoop

Young Bleed?

I was on Nolimit hard back in tha day.Soundtrack to my high school days.

yep, hearing some of those youtube videos you posted made me reminisce on senior cut day smoking $5 dollar weed with sticks and seeds...something i don't think they do nowadays since cats only smoke cush and dro.:smh: but hearing those songs makes me remember when i was young dumb and had no worries.

You about 45 too, ain't 'uh???

Rest in peace to him and his wife

Wish the best to thier family and daughter

Non southern niggas was mad as fuck when No Limit was running shit

Dropping albums what seemed like every week!

Uuuunnnngggghhhh!!!!!!

i remember a nga on the old sohh forums saying them ngz must have stock in The Source Magazine because they have more ads than anybody. then a bunch of other ngz joined in dissing their album covers and skits.

85% - 15% split

they also showed how to rip artist off, that's why before P quit rapping, all the artist had left No Limit except his brother silk. half of the artist, and producers were suing no limit so MP's slick ass filed for bankruptcy (not p but he filed for no limit records).

I was happy to see P return but i can't forget a lot of ngz were happy he had fell off. P was jacking artist, producers, biting a bunch of rappers, a blatantly stealing samples. I don't understand how a label that big thought they could go out and use all those samples and not get them cleared. The funny part was for some songs...u could tell they were str8 up samples but in the book it'll have keyboards and guitars played by so and so, violins by ....like them ngz really played the music. then some songs they'd list the sample like it was cleared.:hmm:

I don't listen to hoes...

This shit touched me like no other Fiend track!

You too? Man, I was like 14-15 years old when this dropped... I always looked older then I was back then. I used to go to our hood store, cop King Cobra and some Bidis then sit on my porch with my cd boombox and just bump this all night...
