I saw a magenta one of them IS AWDs today also looking all quick like the old M3 used to react - quick, swift and strong; am sure that souped up version will be even lighter or whatever & may be cheaper but aint fucking with that 5
Shit's got a V10 and this switch that flicks that 400 to 500hp on demand WITH 6 gears - that shit is a chip
Looks like a nice lil Rice burner though and looks like theyve been following the 5's design

Hell to the naw. Somebody done told you wrong. The M5 is on par with the Ferrari Modina.
That car is the IS-F and its one fast little rocket.
(1) The IS-F was made to compete w/the M3/S4/CTS-V set ... NOT the M5. The M5 keeps up with Gallardos and F430s for awhile. The M5 would hand the IS-F its lunch.
(2) The car is styled like a hot bag of shit on wheels. If I wanted to look like some Import Tuner Fast and Furious teenager, I certainly wouldn't spend $40K+ to do it.
(3) Automatic? Not even a true sequential or stick...fuck that.
(4) It's a Toyota with extra leather and a bigger engine. It'll never drive, handle, or have the tactile feedback like a BMW M. M cars are designed to be racers tuned for the street. Toyota's cars are standard cars tuned for performance. Whole different ideaology yields a completely different car.

The S5 that you have in the first pic will not kill the M5, its made to compete with the new E92 M3 coupe, but its still heavy and has less HP. Plus the new m3 is Twin Turbocharged for the first time ever.
On the other hand, the R8 is sick shit. That could actually give the M5 a run for its money on sheer HP to Weight ration alone. Only time will tell.

These are all E36 M3's, last produced in 1999 I belive......E46 M's dont get left like that.........
