i got certs in access and excel....i think the others are worthless(Word & Powerpoint)I but i can answer almost any question about those two

also youtube can help a lot...:yes:

I'm just confused on the whole process. How do I get started? Do I need to find a test teaching book or do I need to take a class? I'm unemployed right now so money is tight on that part. I don't even know where you take the test or how much it costs! :lol:

I keep looking around and all I see is people offering classes but no info on the actual test or cost or where to take it, etc...

I'm checking youtube though. :yes:

I am where you are now also and I have deceided to start with A+. I am taking the self study approach due to lack of funds from being laid off in June. I downloaded a few books and this site has alot of study material you can download and get started. The test are held are administered by Prometric for A+ and a few others and cost about $160 to take the exam. Good luck with whatever you choose.

right now i'm looking at freeaplus.com :yes:to get the basics before i start reading the study books...
