Meek Mill having the best year of his life: Facing Jail ... AGAIN

Drake Fans Beg the Prosecutor to Arrest Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj Takes the Stand in Hip-Hop’s Greatest Soap Opera

Previously on The Bars and the Beautiful ...Drake received a Grammy nomination for "Back to Back," his Meek Mill diss track. Also, Mill violated his probation by attending the American Music Awards with Nicki Minaj and could potentially face jail time.

And now, today's episode: As Mill's hearing began Thursday in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports thatProsecutor Noel DeSantis detailed exactly how little chill Drake fans have, stating that they "blew up" her phone in an attempt to get Mill arrested for violating his probation. The pettiness of interfering in a rap battle to get one of the parties arrested aside, that's actually a pretty clever plot-twist in this continuing drama of Drake versus Mill. That kind of twist is right up there with shoving a pregnant woman down the stairs, or stealing a company out from under your father. DeSantis neglects to confirm whether or not Drake fans are the actualreason he was arrested, seeing as Mill also details every instance he violates his probation on his very own Instagram account.

Since Mill's parents signed the permission slip for him to go on field trips with Minaj, she showed up in court to testify on his behalf. When she took the stand, Minaj said, "He never purposefully goes against rules. He absolutely wants to make this a smooth transition." But she also identified him as "irresponsible" and working on becoming a "a quote-unquote adult." Mill's defense attorney Frank DeSimone agreed and said, "His life is chaos. It's more immaturity than anything else. This is almost a child. He's 28." (For reference, at the age of 28, Minaj had released her debut album Pink Friday, which went to No. 1 on the Billboard charts and was declared platinum within a month.)

Minaj continued her support by offering to do community service for local children with Mill. To which DeSimone added that the "smart businesswoman" would straighten out Mill. The prosecutor, clearly picking up tips in pettiness from Drake fans, countered that Minaj is a "mogul" who is "probably twice as successful as the defendant." At that, theInquirer describes: "Minaj's eyes widened in a look straight out of one of her videos."

Then, cutting right to the chase, Minaj confirmed that Mill lives with her, and that she would be "sleeping alone" if he went to prison. Is the city of Philadelphia really gonna deny Nicki Minaj her sex life?

Did this nigga REALLY turn in cold water for a piss test??????????????????????

and then said it looks that way cuz of protein shakes?????????????????????

If I was the judge I'd give dat nigga 6 consecutive life sentences for sayin that dumb shit.

If Nicki Minaj genuinely cares about Meek Mill, which I think she does, then it would be a great benefit for her to stick by his side. There are too many young Black males out here lacking the behavioral characteristics of responsible men and, if Meek is willing to listen, Nicki can help instill those qualities in him.

A responsible man would have known not to attend an award show that could jeopardize his freedom for a substantial amount of time.

Life is a game but every play has consequences.

it just doesn't stop...

His attorney said

At this point I dont even know how much more embarassed you can be for someone

And Nikki said his pee is deceiving

Look I suppose you can be commended for standing by your man....but you dont have to be saying complete ignorance in the process

She aint got nobody counseling her either....

I think this right here says it all

a mature man would have also not gotten all emotional on twitter and confronted the so-called singing nigga directly

or just kept his mouth shut

So much gospel truth in this thread I 'bout caught the Holy Ghost! Makes me re-evaluate some of my actions & decisions.

I have to be honest with myself and admit that I don't have much respect for the law, but I've learned that sometimes I have to have enough respect for my freedom and opportunities to not jeopardize either with my contempt for the law. That's just me, tho.

I also have to admit that I've made some bonehead mistakes (decisions & actions) here lately, so I can't come down too hard on Meek, like some in this thread (although most are 100% right & very rational).

And Sam, sometimes that behavior pattern of getting in trouble is more than just their decision making and the people they (immediately)surround themselves with. Sometimes it's learned behavior and old habits die hard. Shit becomes a way of life that they never learned how to grow out of, never had a reason to learn better because they don't see that there is a problem. Ever talk to somebody that has broken logic? Apply that here. Just because he's seeing success and everything around him is changing doesn't mean that he's changing with it, at the same pace.

For the record, I'm not making excuses for Meek. Not by any means! Ain't nothing about 28 a child! Nigga damn near 30, got a son, a career.... there is no excuse. :itsawrap:

Nigga need a mentor or something. It's something he ain't seeing or understanding. It's gotta be. He broadcasting his violations on his IG like the shit ain't public, :smh: Maybe he ain't got it all upstairs. :dunno:

meek and nikki aint supposed to be tight with bey and jay-z

Jay aint give his man a couple words of advice......but then given how it went down with Siegel and them maybe it is what it is

You cant make someone with poor thought processes into rational thinkers in a short time

Remember the curryshotta rule......a small loss beats a big loss which sure as hell beats a continuous loss

I think Meek needs to dead Nicki, fall back from rap and get his life together. He also needs to get new management. All of this BS could have been avoided.
