I get what you saying but I believe there was a thread already on soulful music remixes of modern tracks.. not all were gangsta themes it was just different songs more or less admiring the old school twist.. so it’s more about respecting the old school craft than the lyrics… cause this version definitely could be used for soundtracks, etc, I actually prefer this version than the original version
I like it. I was raised on 70's 80's funk, MTV for a hot minute then rap took off. So shit like this is the best of both worlds to me. Soulful groove with some bs lyrics. I can deal with it. At this age what sounds good to me I fucks with. Stress relief.
