Malik Monk will be the number one draft pick

It depends on the draft

This is a PG draft. Probably the best in at least two years.

Philly needs a PG
BK, Phoenix and Dallas could use PG's

Guess it all depends on who gets the first pick right? A team like the Mavs would probably go for Ball I would think, and a team like 76ers would look for a scorer right? Well how is Philly using Simmons? Like Lebron?

Only player I could take before him is Ball in UCLA because of his play making ability but it's no way he's not the first SG chosen. He's number 5 in the mock right now

Not sure you've seen this kid play then Big Guy! I get the #1 pick here in Philly, its not even a debate between Fultz, Ball, Monk or any of the other PGs. Monk can shoot, this kid is the complete package!

Brown said Simmons will be playing the 1 when he comes back, which is why I look at Fultz as my pick! He can run the floor, is a pass first PG who can shoot, but what sets him apart is his defensive intensity. Kid would be able to guard the other teams PGs so that Simmons doesn't have to chase little guards, and can spell Simmons on the PG duties flawlessly!

he's clearly another tier better than his contemporaries. top 5 pick easy. I think he's going to be a beast in the league too. Reminds me of Gilbert Arenas.

As a UNC fan, I can tell you Kentucky is going to be scary good at the end of the season. They have three lottery picks in their starting lineup while teams like UNC have lesser talent, albiet with experience but are fringe NBA players. On a normal year, we would beat them early in the season and we almost did. This year, I think we're looking at another worldly frosh team like Davis and company.

I highly doubt that he's going before Fultz who could be considered a SG if a teams want to and Monk probably isn't going before Josh Jackson who might up at SG. He may go after Dennis Smith as well. This looks like a deep draft as far as freshman. Monk's jumper being consistent is his main issue but he is nice.

One of the best performances for a freshman against a top 10 team, I have ever seen.

Damn, scored 47 and looks 47.

Some of these kids look old as hell

Yeah, they have good point guard play with Fox and also have better outside shooting than they've had recently.

Young boy had a good game, but 6'3 shooting guards usually don't turn into No. 1 picks. He is top 5 for sure. The scouting report says he will score 40 in a game and then 8 in the next game. He is no better a prospect than Devin Booker.

I've followed his highlights for a while. I agree that 6'3 shooting guards usually don't go #1 unless they are Dwayne Wade. He has a great pull up game and three point shot (I like the Devin Booker) reference, but he doesn't have a really good drive/handle game. Folks are gonna sit on his one dribble pull up until he proves he can routinely get into the lane.

But there's always a place for shooters. I like his fearlessness and pure shots. I think he is a top 10 pick for sure but Fox and Bam will probably go before him.

I think he's got more handle than what he's showing.

Monk, Fultz, Smith, Ball, Fox, Ntilikina, pg's .............josh Jackson, Justin Jackson, Issac, Tatum ...........and Giles hasn't played yet...................damn

Monk's 3 point numbers are definitely skewed by a couple of games where he got on fire. He is a good prospect. If he could play some point as well he might go a bit higher.
