MY COUSIN WORKS WHO WORKS FOR HBO HAS HEARD THE FINAL FATE OF TONY SOPRANO LEAKED!!!!!!!! I’M NOT KIDDING, DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW HOW “THE SOPRANOS” ENDS! THIS IS NO JOKE, AND WHEN THIS HAPPENS..EVERYONE WILL BE SHOCKED, TRUST ME....
By the third to last episode, The NJ/NY war has begun. What set it off is that Meadow borrowed her dad's Caddy to run over to the South Bronx to get a letter of recommendation from her old employer (South Bronx Law Center). Phil Leotardo will be shown to be obsessed with how Tony as slighted him over the years and he snaps. He happens to be in the Bronx, riding in a maroon caddy deville when he tells his guy to stop as he sees Tony's caddy. He says that he has had it with "that fat *beep* and he gets out and he blasts the driver's side window.... only then does he see that Meadow was sitting there, and she is now dead. He freaks out, jumps in the car and tells the driver to go go go! As is the case, no one keeps quiet, and Tony (who had originally, tearfully said it must has been a carjacking her') finds out it was Phil. At the end of the episode AJ sees Phil at a gas station and kills him. He does it with a steel pipe he finds near his car and apparently it’s a really grotesque powerful scene, and then AJ can’t believe what he’s done and he runs away sobbing. This episode ends with AJ sleeping in his car far away from Jersey, while Tony and Carmella are left sitting at home thinking that now they’ve lost both their children. Tony holds Carmella in his arms and she says that they should leave jersey and never come back. The last shot is of tony thinking about her offer, and then the screen goes black, we don’t know if he takes it or not.
In the second to last episode, entitled “Blue Comet”, the NY/NY war really heats up, cause Phil’s dead and everybody in New York thinks Tony’s crew is responsible. So in retaliation, they target Bobby, who is shot to death outside of a hobby shop with his son watching. They also kill Silvio and Paulie and Patsie, all at once outside of the Bing. AJ gets pulled over by a cop, and it’s a really tense scene when he thinks he’s been caught for the murder, but he gets away with just a traffic violation warning. Meanwhile, Carmella gets into a car accident at some point in the episode. She survives but she injures her knee. Tony picks up Carmella from the hospital and says “Okay, let’s go.” She asks where they’re going, and he says something about leaving their troubles behind them.
The last episode opens up in a hotel room where Tony and Carm are staying. Janice calls Tony’s cell phone cause she found out what happened to Bobby, but Tony doesn’t answer it. AJ returns home, but his parents aren’t there. Instead, he walks in to find Butchie, who has been waiting there for someone to return to kill them. Butchie has his gun drawn, but when he sees that it’s AJ and not Tony, he hesitates. AJ starts crying uncontrollably, and says that he will do anything to live. Buchie says “come with me” and then they go. Tony and Carmella decide they are going to move to Virginia and Carmella is talking about having a new baby. The two are trying to smile and make the best of everything, but you can tell they are really broken up inside. Carmella says they should stop off by the house really fast to get some things before they lam it. So they go home, and notice AJ’s car in the drive way, but he’s no where to be found. They search the house and they don’t find any other trace of him. While Carmella is inside getting some clothes together, Tony steps out in his backyard one more time. He is surprised to see that there is a family of ducks swimming in the pool. He tries to smile, but then he breaks down and cries uncontrollably. Carmella comes out to comfort him, and they leave the house behind. As they are driving down the road, a car is shown that Butchie, AJ, and a few other soldiers from New York are following Tony and Carmella even though Tony and Carm don’t know it yet.
Meanwhile, in the asylum, Junior sees on the news that Tony Soprano’s crew has been killed following the death of Meadow and AJ. Junior, thinking that Tony is among the dead, starts crying and goes to his room. He makes a noose out of a belt, and says “I’m sorry, my little nephew. I wish I could tell you sooner …” And then he hangs himself. The nurses rush in and try to save him, but it’s too late, his old and fragile neck snaps.
Now it’s nighttime and Tony and Carmella are staying at a motel for the night. They are laying on the bed sharing stories from the past when suddenly Butchie bursts through the door with AJ and surprises Tony and Carmella. The final scene is very frantic and confusing, as Carmella becomes hysterical and Tony begs Butchie to let his family live. Then Butchie smiles and says that AJ is working for NY now. Then he tells AJ to kill Tony. AJ looks shocked and starts crying, but Butchie says that if he doesn’t kill him, he’s going to kill everyone, including Carmella. Right before it happens, Tony tells Carm he loves her very much. Right before AJ can pull the trigger though, he has a panic attack and passes out. Everyone just stands there for a minute and doesn’t know what to do. Suddenly, Tony and Butchie both make a move for AJ’s gun at the same time and they get into a struggle. In the struggle over the gun, Carmella gets shot right in the head and dies. Then Tony gets the gun in a rage and kills Butchie. He sits on the bed and cries again, and keeps repeating to himself this wasn’t supposed to end like this. Then he shoots his son in the head while he’s unconscious just to put him out of his misery. Then Tony puts the gun to his own head and pulls the trigger. That’s how the series ends. The last shot of the whole series is of Dr. Melfi reading about the whole tragedy in the newspaper, and then going out with her own son and her ex-husband at an ice cream parlor.
LIKE I SAID MY COUSIN WORKS FOR HBO, AND HE HEARD ALL OF THIS FROM A VERY, VERY RELIABLE SOURCE. SO DON'T BE SURPRISED IF THIS SHIT GOES DOWN !!!
