Living Single is an illustration of white vs black. It came out before Friends......Friends was simply the white Living Single.

But it translates to a lot of things in society....look at home values. You can have a white and black neighborhood with the same type of houses same socioeconomics and the pricea would be different

Not really because Cheers takes place at a bar.We rarely saw anyone's house.
Living single/Friends takes place at the women's apartment with some action at the men's apartment.
The cheers characters don't live together.
Plus the friends/single/70's/Bangcharacters are young single when those shows started. The Big Bang character s married.

Cheers wasn't an ensemble when it started it was the Sam/Diane show.

Obviously there's a consistent fan base that supports their material and in many cases I bet they are black...
