lol!! in his defense, the video is in a university/ college setting. Professors and students, especially graduate students messing around is very common. The term "middle age" isnt meant literally. The term is used to categorize your adulthood years which precede the years which are currently defined as '"old age". Thus, the age range changes not only with life expectancy but also with standards and norms of that particular era in time.
