Hard work and faith in self... wins more than loses!!

He been had money even back then. He just didn't stunt and do stupid stuff with his money. He just invested what he had and built his company and wealth into what it is today. He was a millionaire in 1989, it wasn't like he had a couple of grand and then became a millionaire/billionaire.

Went WWWAAAYYYY over your diabetic head... Swollen mitts and all!!

He wasn't

I dig the spirit of the post

Amazon was founded in 94 and went public in 97. I don't know what his net worth was in 99, but that would have been before the crash so I could see it being true.

Unlike Gates or Cuban, Bezos didn't get wealthy with luck or knowing someone. Not to take anything away from the aforementioned fellows.

Luck always plays a part. I may be willing accept that hard work and will can get you rich, but that's a long way from being 1st or 2nd richest person in the world.

He also went to Princeton and worked on wall street for years before starting Amazon. I am sure there were some essential connections made along the way.

As far as tech billionaires go, I think Jobs is the most motivational since he probably had the most humble beginnings of all of them. However, he still had a leg up on most.

I get the sentiment of the post, but I think the glofication of statistically unattainable success probably does more harm than good in the long run.

Good point. People do need to understand that basic success in business or career IS attainable with hard luck.

But to become the President, pro athlete or a billionaire business man takes a HUGE amount of luck and connections.

Taking a thousand shots a day will still no take you Lebron.

I hate that phrase that you can become anything you want if you put your mind to it. Bullshit

I don't know why you keep posting your foot. I'm not gay like you. You go from one username to the other. That's some sad shit.

What are my other user names mittens? Your dumb diabetic ass is pathetic. Check your blood sugar troll, you already said some stupid shit here and no one fucks with you like that anyway... Bounce Piglet! :giggle:

I don't know to tell you what they are when you already know. I know alot of people on here that use more than one username.

Yeah man, he's a worthless troll trying to derail a meaningful thread, and trolls the board posting idiotic threads trying to get attention... Plus he's very sick with a very bad case of diabetes and his hands are very swollen due to high levels of sodium in his diet. I actually feel sorry for him :smh:

It's all good. atleast I only post from one username though unlike alot of these other weirdos that have to use multiple usernames.
Nah, your just an extremely ill diabetic troll with swollen nubs and midget ass hands with splintered finger nails... Hopefully you have all your limbs because frankly, it doesn't look good for you Bruh...

How often do you have to prick your finger? Whats your blood sugar levels? Damn :smh:

Meh......Bruh, you post some weirdo shit too but I ain't judging...:)

Exactly!! Dude really tries to be seen here man, but ultimately, he's really in bad shape. I normally don't bother with him, out of sympathy more than anything else, but for some reason today he's been following me around today. I must have hurt his feelings earlier or something because he's been rolling around in my threads all day... :smh:
