look, there is no making it right - once speech is restricted for one group it will eventually be restricted for any not in the ruling class... thats what our constitution guards against.

I'm not a criminal or drug trafficker or terrorist but all the rights we suspended in our war on crime and drugs - lead to people getting wrapped up and fucked on RICO charges and the rights suspended in our war on terror now has illegal imprisonment and no expectation of privacy expected as normal & ignored by the public and media ... take away free speech and in no time there will be penalties for unpatriotic sentiment speech etc

So when states are petitioning to get the Confederate Flag removed from their grounds are the rights of Confederate sympathizers being encroached upon? Now I don't give a flying fuck about them inbred trogs but they must feel some type of way seeing their flag being attacked. They have a right to fly their flag honored on state grounds under the 1st amendment right? Which leads to my next point, what about the rights of the original BPP and other black groups that the US government targeted under this thing called Cointelpro? It seems the conclusion of the 1st amendment is freedom of speech but not for everyone. Also White Supremacy is the ultimate law of this land, it trumps the constitution and church.

flying a confederate flag on gov't property has nothing to do with free speech - other than official flags of municipal state or federal nature - no other flags have a RIGHT to be flown on government property - even the POWMIA flags are flown only as a courtesy...
you are confusing this - no one disputes that the government violates rights historically or currently- as citizens we are supposed to fight these things when they happen and the constitution provides a framework for dispute... but its very different when the executive branch or local gov'ts over step vs congressional law or the supreme court upholding or condoning any violation of rights.
Our responsibility as citizens of this republic is to fight to enforce the bill of rights and remain vigilant to the potential rise of tyranny - but too many citizen are complacent and ignorant how our government works (Trump himself doesn't know shit about our government, his supporter know even less)
