I assumed after she didn't credit and didn't pay all the other people that worked on the album and made it seem like she did it all by herself, most people in the industry stopped working with her. That and her mental health issues.
Lauryn is proven to be Miseducated when it comes to her sense of time so "soon" to a person that frequently arrives 3-4 hours late for performances and still demands people be grateful isn't the same as it would be to us average people.
She will probably stand the studio engineers up.

As good as her first album was. and lets be realistic it doesn't hold up all that well. Great 90's album, but it's only great in that time period. All those creepy ass pedo skits of an adult talking to kids about love just doesn't hold up 20 years later. Do we really even want another album from her?

I've never been a fan of skits so I don't care to defend those but the music on that album absolutely still holds up and is timeless.

Her first studio album was 1998, & most of BGOL was OnProbation and was on Black Planet.
How MUCH of that music is timeless? I said the album was good, but it was GREAT in the 90's. For an album that is held in such high regard there are quite a few skippers (songs you don't even bother listening to) on that album.
I am interested in what you consider a timeless album? For me you can have SONGS that are timeless, but an entire album??? That is difficult.

She's probably planning to release it on the exact day that we all receive our long awaited and well deserved reparation checks which is noble of her.
