Keep the Internet Free
Everytime a new communication technology appears, common people like you and me create tons of diverse content that we share freely. This helps in creating a lot of content that is not necessarily aimed at making money but aimed at sharing ideas, passions, and interests. This trend happened with the newspaper and radio. Unfortunately, as certain companies began to commercialize these technologies, their next step is to control content. So you get a monopolization of content and creativity loses. Don't let this happene to the Internet.

I heard about this a while back. They're really gettin outta hand. I wonder who got idea that they are just SO AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME that they can meet the demands of the whole world? The ideas out there are infinite. I think the first way they're gonna fool people is that some are gonna actually believe they will make an effort to cater to everyone's interests when really if there is a take over they'll just say what EVER they need to... to get in control.

Internet is the final frontier of media right now I had a class on mass communication and they're ONPOINT with how everytime somethin new pops up somebody tries to move in for a take over. I don't think it's possible anyway. Who's gonna pay for somebody to fuck up a universally good thing?

Well, they're saying that if they OWN THE PIPES they should charge for the content going through the pipes. Same shit corporations did with Radio and cable. It's fucking BULLSHIT.

I hope there's a wireless P2P network for the Net that avoids phone companies' networks. That would truly fuck their shit up.

Basically most of what you find online is user driven content. They wanna knock us outta the box and supply their own shit. Even though they didn't create the internet they say cuz they have the infrastructure (wires, pipes, satellites, whatever...) they should be given the right to dominate. And what's gonna happen is that it's gonna get dumbed down. White people are gonna dictate to the world what internet culture should be.
