I am going to break down your draft pick-by-pick. I am pretty good at fantasy football. I have never not made it to the playoffs in FF and I generally play in 5-10 money leagues per year.
I will give you an overall synopsis at the end!
1. Chris Johnson RB Ten
I am assuming you picked CJ 4-6. Anything higher is too high. Anything lower is a steal. If this was pick 1-3 you may be in trouble as CJ is always a threat to lose goal-line touches. In my opinion that is too high a risk for 1-3.
2. Drew Brees QB NO
Never ever take a QB in the 1st 6 rounds, ever! They do not provide enough value. The only way I would advise taking a QB early is if you have the #1 pick. This would put you at 20 and 21. If all the impact RB's and WR's are gone, then you can do something like Greg Jennings at 20 and A. Rodgers at 21 to get double points. That is the only way I would even consider taking a QB in the first 7 rounds.
Let's look at your draft. You were able to get Schaub in round 9. There was only a 55 point difference Schaub and Aaron Rodgers (3.9 pts per game). You could have taken Mendenhall or Blount or Calvin Johnson in the Second Round and had Schaub in the 9th. I will elaborate later on QB's.
3. Reggie Wayne WR Ind
Because you picked Brees in round two you had to take a WR in round three and you didnt get a great one. 1st Peyton may be out until week three. Even if Peyton is ready week one, he spreads the field. The Colts have several options and Peyton throws to the 1st open receiver (Clark, Garcon, Gonzalez, Collie, Tamme, Addai). That's 6 other players that will have at least 40 catches is Peyton in healthy. If not, you're screwed!
4. Jahvid Best RB Det
I hate to bring more bad news, but this is a disaster pick. Even before the pick, Best wasnt the answer in Det. They drafted Leshore and when he got hurt, they signed M. Bell and J. Harrison. That let's you know what Det thinks of Best. This will be a 10th round value in the 4th round.
5. Dez Bryant WR Dal
This is a good pick and good value right here. Bryant is looking at 75 catches, 1000 yards and 8 TD's. This would have been great for your second receiver if Wayne wasnt first. The only problem is that Romo rarely throws downfield so you might have to rely on him to break some big plays in order for him to have a breakout year. But good pick.
6. Vernon Davis TE SF
This is a great pick. Everyone is down on Vernon bc of Alex Smith but what they feel to recognize is that bad qb's, qb's learning a new system and young qb's look for tight end first. Alex Smith is a young and bad QB learning a good system so Davis will see a lot of targets.
7. Chad Ochocinco WR NE
This is a good pick. Ocho is in that exact same position as R. Wayne but with a team that throws more. He will be fine and this is the best pick of your draft.
8. Lance Moore WR NO
Awful pick. There is simply better options available at this point of the draft. Brees has too many weapons. There were many starting 1st options or young studs available at this point (M. Simms-Walker, S. Rice, J. Ford, B. Lloyd, J. Jones, AJ Green, S. Johnson, B. Marshall etc). Even if he has a big year on special teams, that will be max three TD's (I doubt it knowing that Sproles is there) while all the players mentions above will have three more TD's than Moore.
9. Matt Schaub QB Hou (Drafted this mofo AGAIN! Setting myself up for another let down

)
Good/Bad Pick! This is an awful pick in that you never want to draft more than one QB. Think about it, except the Bye week, at what point will you play Schaub over Brees? You can get a QB off of waivers to play for a week. This could have been another RB or receiver. This can be a good pick if you can trade Brees for a RB valued in the 1st 4 rounds.
10. Tony Gonzalez TE Atl
Awful pick! Never draft more than one TE. With Roddy, Julio Jones and a healthy Douglas, Gonzalez is the fourth option on a team that is run-first. You will never play him ahead of V. Davis. This could have been another RB or WR.
11. Michael Crabtree WR SF
This is a good risk pick for the 11th round. You needed RB though.
12. Pierre Thomas RB NO
This may very well be your worst pick. I know Thomas put up good numbers two years ago and the Saints run a lot more than people think but their is simply too much comp. He is injury prone so the Saints are going limit his carries. Ivory, Ingram and Sproles will get touches. This is the definition of RB by committee. This would have been a good opp to take a flyer on a talented backup RB on a team that has a lot of injuries at RB (Snelling)!
13. Danny Woodhead RB NE
Please see above and note that the Pattie's pass way more than NO. I doubt if he will have 100 carries this year. I doubt if he will have more that 40 catches. Your fourth RB on average starts 5 times per year. Woodhead can get you through a bye week but he is not good enough to be expected to start consistently.
14. NO DEF
Solid choice, they will be in a lot of shootouts this year
15. Pitt DEF
Awful pick. This D is overrated and injury prone. They do not have a big return game. Never draft more that one D!
Overall- I hate to say this but unless you make a lot of waiver moves, you're going to get killed. With this Roster I cannot see you not being last place.
Fantasy football is driven by RB's- 10 of the top 15 are Rb's and 33 of the top 60 are RB's. In order to win a fantasy league you have to have 3 of the top 30 RB's. You only have one!
You have wasted Roster spots at QB, TE, and Def. That's three spots you could have used to take a risk on a stater or young guy (D. Hester, A. Benn, Burleson, G. Tate, M. Lynch, M. Hardesty, etc.). Some young or unknown guy is going to have a huge year. You want to use picks 11-14 to take a risk on those types of guys! Try to trade Brees and Gonzalez immediately and drop one of the Def.
The team that wins fantasy football is the owner that can withstand injuries and the owner that can stay competitive during bye weeks. You simply dont have that fire power. If any of your RB's get hurt, youre toast.
As an FYI, you want to have as many RB's and WR as possible. I always draft in the following manner:
QB- 1
RB- 6 or 7
WR-5 or 6
TE- 1
D- 1
K- 1
I draft my QB in between rounds 8-10. Here you can get a productive QB that wont hurt you as you stockpile other assets. QB's that generally go in this range are Schaub, Romo, Cutler, M. Ryan or Flacco. They will put up huge number but they wont hurt you. I'd rather draft Ryan in the 10 round and give me 14-16 points per game and use my high picks on a RB or WR. The difference between the top rated and the 10th rated QB was only 54 points (Vick w 300, Freeman w 246).
You want to have a combined 12 RB's and WR's either 7 Rb's & 5 WR or 6 each. The best fantasy owners have variety and options at RB and WR. I have had drafts where I selected a RB and WR in the 1st 9 rounds.
Hope that one of the big 5 TE's fall to the 8th round if not. Play the waivers. Same with Def and K. When I say play the waivers, I am instructing you to look at the match-up and pick-up the best match-up week-by-week for TE, Def and K. I literally drop a kicker and Def every week. I would rather have Cleveland's Def against Carolina then have the Jet's D against NE.
I hope this help. You're in trouble this year! Makes some trades. I hope this isnt a money league!
