However, the reason I still believe it's just another case of "pandering" is that Hillary (like every other politician) will go to virtually ANY venue in which they have a strong base & will verbally cater to the whims of the audience in order to come off as "being down with them".
Examples:
- If Hillary was addressing a Jewish audience, she would've made a speech about her unwavering support for Israel and her condemnation of Palestine.
- If Hillary was addressing a Mexican audience, she would've made a speech about granting illegals amnesty and her opposition to building a wall between The US & Mexico.
- If Hillary was addressing a LGBTQ audience, she would've made a speech about existing anti gay & lesbian discrimination in society & a lack of positive portrayals in popular media.
- If Hillary was addressing a Feminist audience, she would've given a speech as to the injustices that women still face in society and the lack of equality in the job market women suffer through.
Do I hate this kind of shuffling for votes?
Yes. Immensely.
Personally, I can't stand Hillary or Trump.
But I understand that these are the "typical actions" of politicians. Nothing more or nothing less.
