Yeah, but this isn't just about one's personal opinion, if she is supporting an administration who's policies are a detriment to our racial group( and what policy that has come out of any administration hasn't been) then yes she can be labeled a mammie. Cute looks or not.

Yeah but the fact of the matter is that our racial group, or a significant amount of it, at this point finds itself at the bottom of the economic, and therefore political ladder. A lot of us dont have any economic power, and we have been notorious for not using the power we do have in the voting booth( although that looks like it will hopefully change this year) So at the end of the day, any party or administration will have policies that are detrimental to us (even Clinton, who I like and think he was a good president, enacted policies that led to more African American males being incarcerated than ever before).

Lets not be fooled to believe that the Democrats are a pro black party that has our best interests at heart. Although I feel they are our best bet and I always vote Democrat, I havent drunk the Kool Aid either.

Lets not forget, this and administration of Republicans shitted on everyone, and fucked over the whole country. The only people happy with this administration are extreme right wingers and religious nuts.

Another thing about Amy Holmes is that she's always appeared to me as someone who wasnt really raised around many African Americans and wasn't really exposed to her culture and people that much, which I believe makes her incapable of fully understanding the plight that our people face.
