i had a problem.
and im sure other people have had the problem.
you run photoshop, and get that dreaded 'License Expired' bullshit.
here's my assesment on the issue. either one of two things happened:
1-- you let an adobe component access the internet and it dialed adobe. which in turn blacklisted the serial/key that you have.
OR
2-- you had photoshop cs3 beta installed and it had an expiration set for whatever date your photoshop started buggin (meaning you didnt properly uninstall cs3 beta before you installed cs3 final)
the solution?
download the cs3 beta cleanup script. run it at level 2 (which will also clean your adobe acrobat)
re-install photoshop. use your key and you're fine OR use the volume license keygen which WON'T activate photoshop. (either is fine)
COMPLETE steps:
1-uninstall photoshop cs3
2-download the adobe cleanup script tool
http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html
3-run it at the highest setting (setting #2) make sure you backup your plugins, fonts, presets, etc etc etc because it erases all traces of cs3.
4-shut down your pc. start it again (restart. some pc's dont restart properly. so shut down then turn back pc on)
5- install cs3 phootshop again.
6- use the volume license or the activation keygen.
any questions, concerns, post them here.
oh yeah. you might have trouble running that cleanup script.
if you do, its because you need this from microsoft.

your only other option in all this is to uninstall cs3. then COMPLETELY manually clean up the registry of anything that is related to cs3. the licensing information is on there somewhere
