Love the music, even though I don’t know a word of it.

There’s Nothing like attending a Nigerian party with the smell of burnt jollof rice, roasted meat , palm wine and star lager in the hot sun.

Anyone know the name of the music album?

Nico' M'barga etc...

I had a Nigerian friend of mine who was a DJ in this area, In the
summer he would be booked months ahead of time. He would
tell give me his entire summer schedule, and every Saturday, I
would be there until 5 or 6 in the morning.... and the Nigerian
women would make sure I went home with jollof rice, goat, hard
beef cubes, chicken, egwusi, moi moi... Sometimes I would not cook
for a whole week.

Oh those were the days.

Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves. Nice ceremony
Nigerians parties are always fun. These are the most generous, most welcoming
and kindest people you will ever consort with. They ask no questions, they are
happy about whoever is there, and share everything they have with you.

I have been literally to hundreds of Nigerian parties- never once did anyone ever
ask me for a penny.

Yes, I like Nico MBarga.

Curiously, this song reminds me of Okosun's and Bongos Igwe's style

Before I say anything, let me ask where these people come from?
Jidenna is half Nigerian and British. He's also Igbo, so I'm just saying that the song was inspired by the Igbo musicians, Bongos Igwe, Okosun etc...
