I'm I wrong for not wanting to date women with kids?

I'm 26 with no kids, but I swear every chick round here older than 21 has kids. My last girl had kids and I didn't mind it, I liked the kids it was all good till baby daddy came back. So for me that killed the idea of me wanting to date someone who already has kids. I just don't see why I should have to work to be cool with her kids, and possibly endure the dead beat baby daddy shit, baby momma 'I don't need no man' mentality. They always want to make you pay for the shit the baby daddy ain't doing or did.

I met a woman the other night at this open mic, we kicked it and everything was all good. Till she brought up having two kids already, to which I told her I was no longer interested. Am I wrong? I mean I tell my home girls (who don't have kids) this shit and they look at me like I'm shallow.
 
I broke this shit down before. It's almost a miracle to find a black woman 25+ without any kids. Thats like finding a needle in a needle stack. ( The mis-quote was deliberate ). It's very unfortunate and disturbing.

Of course all the short bus niggas from this site will swear up and down that the majority of black women they know don't have kids blah blah blah....The reality is what I say......if you want to date women 25+ without children you might want to look outside your race. :smh::smh::smh:

A bitch got mad at me one at my old job when we were having a discussion, and I stated I cannot fuck with a chick that has kids. But then I was in my early 20's. Even now (I turn 34 in a few days), and have 2 kids of my own, I can't do it :smh:
 
It's funny that you bring this up. My girl from high school and I just started talking again. That was about 8 or 9 years ago and she has a baby from some NFL dude now. She looks good as hell but I am kinda torn about how for to take it considering the child situation.
 
your not wrong. I completely understand. every body has issues some issues we will not deal with some we can learn to deal with. Nobody is perfect.

Nope,not at all.Honestly,it would be more selfish and shallow to date a woman with a kid if you won't take an interest in that child.If it ever got serious,you would end up being a fatherly figure.My current girl is the first chick i've ever dated that has a kid.Her daughter is a teenager and listens to every bit of advice I give her.I really have taken an interest in her and enjoy looking at her grow partly from my guidance and efforts.That said,if we break up,i'll never date a chick with a kid again because its one thing to break up with a chick,but breaking up with the child is a whole other matter.Don't do it man.

thats kinda how i felt but my ex and her son, we had a lot in common so i kinda took him under my wings and cared bout him. I could see he was hurting cuz his pops wasn't round, when me and her fell apart cuz of the baby daddy startin shit I felt strange about the whole thing wit the kid. I don't want 2 fell that shit again with someone thats not even my burden for a lack of better words

props to single mothers, but they're not for me for a myriad of reasons. I like spontaneity. That shit is a no go with a single mother. Besides, I don't have kids. I wanna start fresh when I start a family.

The same can apply to women who date men with kids...because, behind that baby mama, there may be a baby father who has joint custody or is doing his part in raising his child...

I definitely don't see anything wrong with men or women who have a preference to date someone who doesn't have kids. The problem is in the rise of single women who know feel it's "ok" to intentionally raise children without a father figure in the home. Yes, sometimes, relationships don't work out and other unfortunate circumstances might lead a man/woman to raise a child on his own, BUT when you make that CHOICE, I guess I have a problem with that :smh:
 
If you dont have any kids you're not wrong, but you will be eventually. There are a plethora of black women with no kids out there. If you cant find any, it's best to go to different areas, cities, etc...Step out the box, and go to places you dont typically go, and you will find them

Every man with no kids deserves a virgin birth from his woman, and shouldnt have to settle.

Normally I would say the same to a cat like that but it makes sense. As men especially if we handle our business most times the mother of our children will not interfere. Another thing is that the child normally does not live with us so there are minimal oppourtunities for the mother and current girlfriend to actually interact.

With women the child usually lives with them and to see the woman on a consistent basis a man has to see the kids, and if the father wants to see the kids he will come to the house where the man is. Especially the men who never take care of the kids but soon as they hear its a new sheriff in town they wanna have a damn fit. All of a sudden they turn into daddy of the year. Very few times do you meet a woman with kids and the father is cool. The only exceptions usually are if he is dead or in jail. Sad but real.

thats exactly what happen, and knowing dude is whack she goes 2 him, 2 me I'm like why put up wit it if i have no obligation to? I'd like 2 start my own family and RAISE my own kids.
