Elway and Marino are still lightyears ahead of Brady and Montana also but to a lesser degree.

If he keeps his stats up for another 5-6 seasons, THEN he'll move into that upper echelon. But I've got a feeling the game is going to catch up with the Patriots' system and slow them down. It always does.

I'm 28, so I'm old enough to have seen some of the great in all sports. When it comes to QB's I have always felt Montana was the greatest I've ever seen. Of course Elway, Marino, Moon, Favre and even Jim Kelly are on the all time greats list, but for my money none of them can fuck with Joe! A 4th ring on Tom Brady's fingers would put him in that area...

I respect your opinion, but nigga is you crazy. He passed Favre and Manning two Super Bowls ago, he just broke most of Mannings records this season alone. I don't know what your basing your defination of greatness on but mine is based on winning games. And Tom Brady is the best at winning. Marino was my fav growing up but all he left with was some records that have been broken as of late. The point of playing the game is to win and to go undefeated after winning 3 previous sb is GOAT material. Welker is a good player, no doubt, but you could put any average receiver in the slot with Moss drawing all the attention, and they would do well. That's the thing. Defenses know that they have a choice- either stack up on Moss- and let Welker get 10 receptions for 80 yards and maybe a TD, or Play man, or some other coverage and get burnt by Moss for 2-3 scores. You're damned if you do, and FUCKED if you don't...

Don't know about this one D-Nice. Marino was the Dominique Wilkins of the NFL..dude was a highlight reel but never won the big games. He is still a top 10 QB of all time. I'm not disrespecting Marino, but dude was a regular season giant and a post season midget.

Also, in terms of the big games, Montan's super bowl numbers are fucking ridiculous.

Check it. Brady has the wins and he has the stats to garner him the title of GOAT. Brady is better than Bradshaw because of the stats he put up WITHOUT A BIG STAR WIDERECEIVER.
