He simply stated if you stop texting people, you’ll realize that they wouldn’t have and won’t text you. You’re bringing attention to others when they’re not thinking about you.

So don’t be the one always reaching out to people that don’t reach out to you.

At least that’s what I took from it.

there‘s levels to friendships/acquaintances, some of them you reach out to all the time, some of them you don’t but still chop it up when yall do text/call/see each other, it doesn’t mean it‘s a dead plant (one sided relationshi). Just like he has a list of people who he always text first I’m sure theres also a list of people who text him first.
