I know you are in a really bad spot right now, but if I may offer some advice
I've seen people in your place make a lot of mistakes because they weren't ready- are we ever?
1) Start a go fund me. The friend of a friend of mine raised $40,000 in like 3 days. Though you may not have that kind of success, any little bit helps
2) Funeral directors will try to gouge you. DO NOT feel as if you have to go with an expensive casket or an extravagant funeral.
My friend did that for her husband and ended up having to sell her house within the next couple years because she spent so much on the funeral/casket
How much you spend on the funeral/casket is not an example of how much you loved her, no matter what the funeral directors say
The less you spend on the funeral, the more you can spend taking care of yourself and your 3 kids for the foreseeable future
3) Get help. This isn't the time for pride. Marcellus Wallace said it in Pulp Fiction, "Pride it only hurts, it never helps." You got three young ones who are depending on you right now for everything.
Your mental health and well-being will help you be a better father. Therapy is not a bad thing.
4) Cry. Many of us men play tough. Fuck tough. If you need to cry, cry.
