How much more can we take? I already started my protest by buying Madden 1 year late (for $10 or less) instead of getting it on the Madden Holiday as I have in years past.
I used to be out there every year at midnight with all of the other crazies...THEN call of work the next day and play all day and night...MAYBE call off the next day after that.

Now I get NCAA & Madden 1 year late and enjoy the "Roster Update Only" New Madden a year later than the rest of you.
This leads me to ask...HOW MUCH LONGER? How much longer does EA have the license to be the only group to make an NFL game. NFL 2K5 was a HUGE blow to Madden. It didn't sell better than Madden, even at $19.99, but it DID bring a bunch of people to...The Dark Side. A lot of people said, "Hmmm, let me try it. It's just $20....Oh, shit....FUCK Madden. Enough people, probably some in EA's own building, that EA bought the license from the NFL so nobody else could make a football game with NFL players and NFL teams.
Competition makes everything stronger and makes the competitors try and work harder. Without competition folks get lazy. and EA got lazy as fuck. Listen to the slogan they actually came up with to promote this year's game, "Play an entire game in half the time."
Seriously?
None of us complained about how long it took to play a game. We wanted more in depth franchises (which this year they didn't touch AT ALL for the second season in a row). We wanted gang tackling. We wanted the removal of the suction blocking among other things. We got...faster games. Madden is like a carfax commercial. Ask for something, they give you something you don't give a fuck about
How much longer do we have to suffer? Can we have another option PLEASE.
