The quote from the article just reaffims what I said because if you watch the film, you can see her Dad came distant with her. She's didn't have to make that statement about "her parents" but her father.
If you watched the end of the film and her interaction she had with her Dad at his home, you'd understand why she said it.Don't know what to say. She said what she said in the interview I posted.
