Hell no. They're not talk about making it permanent. I'm working from home right now and the department head is hell-bent on sending us back. He can't fucking wait

This motherfucker said, because you guys have been so great during the tele work period, we are going to bump up telework to 4 days per pay period when everything goes back to normal and we can bring you all back in to the office (we are all now working telework 10 days a pay period)

We might have to do hotdesking (fucking gross, having some strange fucker sitting at my desk the day before I get there. Who knows if they wash or smoke (yuk) OR if they just go around touching everything in sight like a fucking toddler or worse are one of those Republican Covid19 deniers

Oh, by the way do you guys know about the mouse Jiggler? You plug it into your laptop and your computer never goes to sleep so when you're working from home you don't have to be on your computer the whole time

I used to have a macro that did this same thing back in the day!

No changes - job requires us to be there in person. No option to work from home. Fortunately have minimal staffing and clientele, plus all the safety protocols.

Bruh, you ever thought about traveling long term while working from home?

Trinidad
Panama
Colombia (if you're vaxxed)
Costa Rica

Should have done it earlier. I'm finishing up my degree now t GSU so I gotta be here for classes. I traveled a bit during the pandemic but not overseas yet.

Plus we ain't supposed to be working from certain countries for proprietary and government reasons...long story. Could use a VPN but why risk it

We went back 4 days of your choice a month but Omicron sent us back home. But we go back again in March.
I don't know how they even justify that shit. What difference does it make if you are in the office four days out of the month? What does that change? Who does that help?

Gay dude I work with has been taking advantage of the advertising industry doing the work from home thing. He was just working from Colombia for two weeks and this week he started working from Mexico for the month.

Still working from home. They liquidated our cubicles in the office so we're permanently WFH which I love.
I'm almost at my savings goal so I'm going to try to get some travel in after that. I really don't plan on going anywhere until the fall but I might city hop since I can just take a laptop with me.

Right now its kind of blended. I work from home some, but I have to get out a couple of days a week to shake the trees to see if I can find some new business. I am extra careful though. That damn bug is knocking people down. I don't want that shit again. Plus, I will get a couple of things started back I had going before the COVID hit.

My situation exactly

as I spend more time at the crib, I am constantly reevaluating my possessions and getting rid of shit I don’t use or need.

I've been purging a lot of shit out of my space lately. Just took a few boxes full of stuff to the landfill. I've been re-arranging furniture and now want something fresh. Definitely need to get a bigger tv for the living room but I hardly watch the one I have out there now. Clearing your space is therapeutic.

Fam, I bought a mouse jiggler on Amazon. That muphucka is the truth! Because most companies look at your idle time.
Fam, there are free software based Mouse jigglers. @Cannibal

This I a single Exe meaning, nothing to install. I run this on my cloud desktop as well. Keeps my Teams app from showing I'm away.

Working from home is just one of the things and reasons for the worker shortage. People would rather make $20 and hour and work from home than $30 and hour and deal with bullshit traffic and the bullshit work environment. Less in gas, lunches and clothes almost makes it balance out.

It is the most liberating thing in the world. I was bleeding money every time I left out the door and I was not making as much as I am now. Metro was always fuckin up and I got tired of paying for it. I spent maybe $12 on lunch and a light breakfast. Once this shit hit, I saw all that money getting freed up and went into save mode instantly. I'm sitting on a nice lump now thanks to that.
