Just got this sommabitch and the battery didn't last from 10:30 to 6?

What can I turn off without having any issues?

I did take some Snapchat and regular videos but that is it.

:smh::smh::smh::angry:

Help please

1) Drain the battery until it dies and then charge it all the way back up again
2) Use Greenify app to hibernate apps
3) Turn off bluetooth and GPS when you don't need it
4) Use Power-saving mode
5) Cut down the screen timeout time

Not sure if there are any custom roms available yet for the S6, but I installed one on my S5 that uses a LOT LESS battery and removes all the bloatware

Look on the xda message boards to see if there is one
You'll have to root your phone first though

imma extend the life of the samsung 6 by not buying one,, keeping my samsung 4 for as long as it works properly,, corporations stay conning people into buying the same damn phone every year with only a few minor tweeks

Just buy a spare and swap.... oh wait. :hmm:

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that shit just hit me, no battery swap option nor external SD cards, I just bought a fucking 1phone and didn't even realize it cause I was under duress when my 4 died on me and I had to get something immediately!

Holy Fuck, batman!

I trusted the sales rep...:smh::smh::lol::lol::lol:

Bluetooth is the biggest drain on the battery. Use it while you're driving but not all the time. I have the Note 3. My battery will last almost 2 full days. Just about a day if I leave bluetooth on. Is there no power saving feature on the newer phones?

NO! That is a quick way to reduce the life of your battery. Lithium Ion batteries have no memory and it is a good practice to never let your battery get below 50% if possible. You are on point with your other tips.

That tip is more for when you first buy a phone or when installing a new rom.

That's why given the choice, I went for the NOTE EDGE I want to be able to swap batteries and pop in my own SD Card.
The Rep was like this versions of the Samsung are the last of those to swap and pop in your own stuff.:smh::angry:
I hope he's lying

same here with my note 3.always bought myself the zero lemon extended battery/w case and have had very few issues. T Mobile constantly trying to get me to buy the note 4. No need for me to get another phone when this one still works well.

Try the power saving mode built in. There are 2. It's the reason that I went back to the Note 4 after having the S6 Edge.
