Right now on TV a mother used her 6 year old son to pick pocket students on Penn's campus. His uncle (another nigga) was also arrested

Then they interview the family members and the ignorant aunt is upset but cant get through a live Television issue without using foul language which had to be bleeped out.

They have a book of the 150 most wanted criminals in philly thats being handed out to citizens. Pages and pages of ignorant low life niggas that have destroyed others peoples lives make up the book.

I think the most ignorant and least attractive slaves were dropped of in philly and have never left. If you look at the physical appearance of blacks in philly you really start to believe this has to be genetic:smh

And sadly thats what a lot of good blacks do out here, is ignore the problem. You cant scream racism when they put cops in high crime areas which always happen to be black

There are so many neighborhoods that WERE decent until these ignorant animals came in via their parents and section 8 then began shooting up the community.

Northeast is on its way to becoming a hood thanks to this nigga thug life virus. And you know the NE was a decent place to live just 5 years ago:smh:

I'm not ignoring the problem, I'm just ignoring the media feeding frenzy. If all you do is watch Action News, then you will never see anything positive happening in Black neighborhoods.

Turn off your TV, and visit a church or civic improvement group. If you are in the NE, then better make that a synagogue.

You know, in some instances, Section 8 should have a tougher lottery, becuase I remember beign selected and I didn't care for it, it was that damn easy. they don't even force you to look for a fucking job. fuck that. I'd have your ass inspected every friday night, fuck the day time. Sometimes these social programs are cool, but some people take advantage of that shit.
becuase of these Sorry mothafuckas neighborhoods are all shot to shit and people can't live in peace anymore.

I'm snitchin' on any mofo in my apartment building bringing some bullshit trying to bring havoc to my apt. Shit, if you let them, they'll break into your place if you don't say anything.

I don't watch too much TV, much less the damn local news, but I see this shit happening in black neighborhoods I've worked in. Kids afraid to walk home becuase someone might get shot. what the fuck man. Yeah, there are some positive people in the Neighborhood, but they have to let go of these no-gooders. They changed DC but it was about a 5-10 year process.

Black crime in Phila is the same as black crime everywhere. It is committed by people that don't have anything, do not want to work for anything, and don't want those that do to have anything. But color is really irrelevant. If a crime is commited against me or a member of my family, I couldn't care less what the color of the perpetraitor is. I'd want his or her ass jailed and if they took a life, I'd want their ass gone forever.

I'm not interested in rehabilitating these fools because if they were about anything rehabilitation wouldn't be needed. I don't care if they came from broken homes, or had no father figure, or any of that social excuse bullshit. Each of us has an inate sense of right and wrong and if anyone chooses purposely to cause harm to another-- fuck 'em. If they choose to drop out of normal society, then I say remove them from society. If were up to me they'd be sent to jail to serve a term commensurate with the severity of their crime, and I don't mean a prison with privileges. If they wish to act like wild animals then do what you do with wild animals, put 'em in a cage, feed them ONCE a day, and keep them there until they serve every day of their sentence. If someone after an experience like that wants to get out and go back to a life of crime with no worry about returning to prison, fine. The jailers will be waiting. :mad:

And it doesn't look to be getting any better. The former Mayoral administration and the current one seem to be on some Carcetti/Royce shit. The old dude, Mayor Street, put community centers all over the city recently to try to get kids off the street and introduce them to something different and the new dude, Mayor Nutter, because he and Street don't like each other took all of that money and closed most of the centers. $21 million!! I am the Director of one of those centers and I will be out of work March 1. And those kids that are usually in my center from 3pm to 8pm will be in the street breaking in to your cars and homes and selling drugs on your corner. What a shame :smh:
 
We got a new mayor and hopefully things will change for the better.I've noticied a lot of cops on the streets now and to answer your question they need to change that testifying against people in court law.That's what's stopping people from snitching.They're scared for their lives and their families lives.You can either call the police and snitch or you can take care of It yourself.Most people out here choose to do nothing which is stupid.To me that's worst than being labeled a snitch.Your labeled as a punk or a pussy to me.

in an Ideal world, that could be possible but up here all the prison systems are flooded with criminals....I'd say get rid of them, send to an Island, like the leppers or something. Send them out there to fend for their own shit like this one movie I saw. I'd make them starve for a couple days just so they'd appreciate freedom when they come back, and if they commit crime again, well, I'd send them off to space or the bottom of the wit Cement blocks for shoes. fuck 'em, I don't give a flying fuck for any criminal. There's good people In Philly, I believe that, but they get overwhelmed by the ignorant folks who keep fucking shit up for the good folks. I'd wash my hands of 'em. Cleanse the city once and for all.

all city employees have to live in the city...and philly cops are just as corrupt as ny's.....the point i'm making is that there is no clean sweep solution short of raining fire from the sky ala sodom & gomorrah.....and guiliani time usually led to an abuse of people's rights by racist cops.....not just criminals but regular people who are for the most part...law abiding...but there is no denying the effects that abundant economic opportunities present to a large portion of the criminal element...most of these cats out here hustling are doin this because there are no legal options....if you can give a cat a decent job with a living wage you diminish the chances of him selling drums on the corner....that's all i'm saying!

Exactly.There aren't any good full time jobs and It's hard working 2 shitty jobs to make ends meet.It's not that hard fighting crime really.All they have to do is keep a track of people who make multiple gun purchases or buy a huge amount of firearms in a 1 month.:rolleyes: The odds is they're a straw purchaser and all the ATF/FBI has to do is send that person a letter in the mail stating that they're under investigation for gun trafficking.I can guaranteed you that would scare the straw purchaser silly because they see buying guns and selling them on the street as extra money and not worth serving a very long time in prison.Add cameras in high crime areas that actually work.Add more cops on the street(make the block hot).Execute warrants etc.These pigs are just lazy and don't give a fuck about black people(the majority of the murder victims).Like I said....Fuck the Police!:cool:

Gott Damn, there's no jobs in a City that big? wow. some folks might to move then, I hear you on uneasy solutions, but what can one do if there's no jobs. the least they should do is work for fast food and do other jobs as well. take up several jobs so as to live. it's not that difficult to do, I've done that before, I had three jobs.
 
The paper from the other day said that only 20% of philly's population (DC for example has 50% grad population) has graduated from college and that there are far more dropouts than anything (and they do mean high school). That says alot. The creme rises to the top and flows out. We're left with unskilled workers and shitty service jobs. People don't even have basic interpersonal skills for these shit jobs. That's why anything-goes-hustlin is here to stay.

And Nutter is really dropping the ball with the youth centers. I didn't know that. WTF is he thinkin?

Philly wouldnt need Guiliani tactics if these animals were just killing themselves. The problem is a lot of innocent people are having their lives snatched prematurely.

Look, desperate times call for desperate measures. Ofcourse you dont want innocent blacks getting smashed by aggressive police but thats not the norm. I lived through the Gooliani error without so much as a speeding ticket.

Gulianni= More Cops/Rockefeller drug laws/Mandatory Minimums=A lot of black men in jails and no longer on the streets.That's all he did was enforce the law.I guess It worked but those jail sentences are harsh.

I'll tell you what. I'll do you one better. I remember when a Black man had better not get his Black ass caught up in the NorthEast. Roxboro, Paoli, Fishtown. You might as well been talking about Selma, Brmingham, and Montgomery of the 50's and most of the 60's. Philadelphia wasn't an overt racist town (except for the police dept.), but, there was a racist undertone to it. I don't know how old you are my man but, the police dept under Frank "King Frank" Rizzo was one of the most corrupt police dept.s in the United States. Then he became mayor. You'd catch a beatdown in Philly by a cop like you was in south africa during aparthied. My point is that if the police dept. was allowed to operate like that, then how clean and forthright were the adminstrations? And I'm not talking about ions ago. This was through the 70's into the early 80's. The teenagers and young adults of that era are the same people that you're talking about now. I had a summer job in West Philly working for Bell of PA while I was in college. I went out and worked on phone lines in peoples homes. I had a job (work order) in the P.J.'s that are located on 46th and Market. I went up to like the 22nd floor to work on this old lady's phones and I knocked and she told me to come in. I go up in that piece and she's in the bathroom sitting in the shower in a beach chair trying to keep cool. (No I didn't walk in on her. I heard the water running in the shower and she told me what she was doing). She couldn't afford A/C. This lady had to be mid 60's early 70's. That should tell you how Philly was taking care of it's own. The doors to get in to the apartments to those high rises faced out. Meaning you didn't knock on the door in a hallway. You were actually outside when you knocked on peoples doors. I looked over the city while walking to get to this lady's door and you could see the heat rising off the city it was so hot. I say all that to say this. Is it a wonder that the youth of today in Philly or any other major city feel somewhat disenfranchised(i may have spelled that wrong)? Don't knock a person until you've walked in their shoes. I don't condone violence or anything of the sort. And I'm not saying that you can't make it out of the inner city. I'm saying that (sadly) many times the youth of a city is the product of their environment.
