You see, here is where the true problem lies, they assume (just like the show implies) that if your a black man then chances are you are full of shit and no good. Not only do they not bother to confirm or dismiss it, they rather assume it and feel sorry for themselves..
To compound the issue there is a breed of thirsty brothers out there who do nothing but confirms this negative stereotype, leaving the regular good guys caught in between the crazy delusional broads and the thirsty dumb asses fucking shit up (and yes brothers are just as fucked up with all the simping for pussy that's going on these days)..
We need shows that represent how blacks could and should be instead of more bashing and shows that only purpose is to further divide black people..
But getting black men and women together as one has never been on the white mans agenda....

i don't know anything about her other than her and her black boyfriend were going through it, she tried to holla at another black dude to reconnect while still with her black boyfriend, she wavered over it and this past episode her and her black boyfriend worked it out and reconnected

She is not a bad looking female who seems to have a good head on her shoulders, so there is not way in fuck that she's not going to have a ton of men not trying to holler at her, just not realistic..
What more likely is that she is dismissing men who she doesn't consider men for the same reasons why she feels she is being dismissed by men she really wants.. Don't you see the irony in all of this?
Now if it were a chick that looks like Precious I would find it more realistic, actually the show is kind of condescending towards the real women who have a hard time finding a good man because unlike chicks like her who have a hard time choosing the right man that fits their standard, they really don't have that many choices for real..

I think the relationships are just a sidenote. Even in the plotline of the story written by black woman, it talks about how the females are not on top of their shit and are not cool at all. Everything is written to find the humor in situations. There is nothing funny about a strong black man, that does and says all the right things. But like in the second episode her friends goes on a date and the guy is on point the whole night, and just when she thinks she's found a good dude, he whispers in her ear "you trying to fuck". I find that type of shit funny...and it's probably true. But I don't look at it as they are saying every black dude is the same. I think if you look at it objectively you will notice that in every situation either she is awkward and fucking up or the other people are doing dumb shit and it's supposed to be funny. If you are finding something to be offended or turned off by, then that means you don't like her humor and you shouldn't be watching it anyway.
