I have paid to see:
Culture Club-Human League opening act
Teena Marie(no.1 draft pick in the racial draft? :))
David Rodigan-opened for Beres Hammond
Michael McDonald-with Chaka Khan opening for him

I would pay to see:
Hall&Oates
Pink
Sting
Phil Collins
Swingout Sister
Christopher Cross
Lisa Stansfield

I would pay to see(assuming prices were reasonable)

I've paid to see Hall&Oates and Bruce Springsteen in the 80's. Some of my white friends got me tickets to see the Monsters of Rock tour when I was in the army in Germany.

1) Steely Dan (even though Walter Becker has died).
2) The Black Keys
3) Rage Against The Machine
4) Sting

My cousin, the leader of the rap group Newcleus,is a huge Steely Dan fan. I am amused by that. I like them too. They are/were often at the Beacon Theater. I thought about going a few times.

Hall & Oates gets the official pass …. ….. period .... Doobie Brothers and Phil Collins as well …. very few here can honestly say that they don't/haven't listened to their shit or don't own copies of their stuff ..... too many be fronting the fuck out of themselves by playing the "racist militant" here .... foh … :hmm:

sidebar: a lot of solidly black stations play some white shit … ex: WBLS NYC … 107.5 with some of those dumbass militants not even knowing they white

I’m surprised with Level 42. I love Lessons in love and something about you but I don’t know much about the rest of their catalog. I spent hours on the net searching for the extended versions.

I used to hit alotta concerts. Back in the 80s, I saw everyone from AC/DC to Yes.

Nowadays, I mostly attend outdoor jazz concerts. Recently saw Michael Franks (3rd or 4th time)..

I go now mostly for a nite to kick it with my girl, maybe another few couples, sit out, drink, and listen to some music...and check out the honeys.

I'd love to see Hall and Oates, Elton John..my girl wants to see The Eagles, but tickets now are ridiculous.

None recently, but back in the day Chuck Mangione, Doobie Brothers (with Michael McDonald), Teena Marie, Michael Franks, and the baddest white boy band ever, Chicago.

My musical taste is very eclectic. I've seen several White acts, including:

Steely Dan
Michael McDonald
Manhattan Transfer (5x)
David Sanborn (3x)
Michael Franks (2x)
Maroon 5
Billy Joel
Acoustic Alchemy
Gary Burton
Rippingtons (3x)
Marion Meadows
Bob James (2x, not including with Fourplay, whom I've seen many times)
Pat Metheny

Music is music, man. I wouldn't mind seeing Hall and Oates.

In the last 45 days, my girl and I have went

to three concerts.

Two of them were white acts.

One was Pat Metheny and the other was

the group Moonchild.

Both were excellent concerts performed

by very talented people!

The other concert was Robert Glasper
