GS Warriors' Klay Thompson... Concussion - Out Indefinitely

actually looks to me like ariza missed him initially then pushed that right knee forward :dunno:

Even if that is the case, he didn't have to take that HUGE ass step inside the 3 point line.

Ariza could have straight been on that bullshit and trying to injure him. That's very well in play. But that play does not happen if Thompson doesn't step inside the 3 point line.

If scared of wolf don't go in woods...

Go watch the play again fam.

I'll try to post it, but there's an angle that's damn near floor level.

Thompson is at least a foot or more behind the three point line. Ariza anticipates the shot so he jumps trying to block it.

Thompson sees him, takes a HUGE step inside the free throw line with his right foot, dips his shoulder, and goes up INTO Ariza. As he's jumping into him that's when the knee to the head occurs.

This was TOTALLY avoidable by Thompson.

At the time he did that dumb shit, he was on FIRE. He passed on the 3 to step inside the 3 point line to take a 2. TBH it looks to me like he was trying for some get back for the incident between Ariza and Curry.

All he had to do was pump fake, watch Ariza fly by him, and take the shot. He probably would have drilled it seeing how he was playing at the time.

I hate that it happened because I would like to see both teams full strength at the finals. But if you look at that play objectively, you'll see that this was all on Thompson and could have easily been avoided.

After watching it again with the vid posted in the original thread you're right, Klay could've avoided the contact.

But still, Ariza's knees though. Not a natural landing motion, not saying he tried to to it but the knee didn't look like natural movement.

But yes Klay could've avoided the entire collision.

And like I just said, Ariza could have been trying to injure Thompson. He could have done it on purpose, stuck the knee out, all that. That is very well possible.

But if Thompson just pump fakes and holds his ground vs pump fake and step INSIDE the 3 point line, he has an uncontested shot that he probably drills and he isn't injured.

If scared of wolf don't go in woods...

After focusing on Ariza it looks like he was attempting to block the shot. The knee was going forward and up to create momentum to block the shot. Except Klay pump faked and moved forward, yep it's all on Klay. It's his fault but we cannot blame him because he just thought he was going to get contact not knocked out.

Golden State are morons. I said it to someone else... Why do they keep rushing cats back in the game??

Steph was allowed back immediately after he hit his head in a blowout loss. And then Klay was allowed right back in after a fucking knee to the dome in a got dam blowout win.

I hope the union files a grievance.

Kerr trying to run it up.

That's why I'm routing for the Cavs.

Ariza modern day Bruce Bowen :smh:

Dude threw up after the game :smh:

I knew he was gonna be out.

He's one step away from brain injury :smh:

It is brain injury. True mark of it puking. Heads who play football can tell you that the only thing you want to do is hold on for dear life but puking is the sign man. :smh:

mofos aint got one iota of concern

Kerr already did it with his honky white bread ass. Like he built the team up and shit. Man Jackson put that squad together, not Kerr. Sorry ass motherfucker.
