I got a speeding ticket on the New Jersey part of the Palisades Parkway. The cop said i was doing 74 in a 50 MPH zone. I think he lied because it was a speed trap. I saw the first cop and at the time, i was doing about 45MPH, there's no way in hell i sped up to 74MPH in about 1-2 secs to where the other cop was hiding. Anyways, i just want to confirm that the speeding ticket from NJ won't transfer to my NY license and fuck up my insurance rates.

ever heard of computers ?

don't pay it and they will suspend your NY license.

and won't tell you and either you will find out when you try and renew or the next time you get pulled over and cuffed up for driving with a suspended license.

and your shit will be impounded

Hmmm..I didn't say i wasn't going to pay. I plan on paying. I want to know if the points transfer to NY license. If not, i might as well just mail in the ticket and pay for it instead of going to Palisades Interstate Court. I hate that fucking place so much.

I also got a "spillback" ticket in NYC. The cop is an idiot. I was stuck behind a couple of cars and ended up being in the only one in the box. He saw the whole thing happen too and quickly drove up to pull me over lol. I asked him what he suggest for me to do next time and the idiot said "wait all the way back there till the intersection clears up". I swear i wanted to get out of my car and slap the fuck out of him after he said that". If we all did that in NYC, we'll be at that intersection till next year.

between owning a home and a car...

the system found ways to keep their

hands in yo pockets..

If I owned a car,

I would be in so much debt right now...

one of the few perks about living in manhattan..

you do not have to own a car to get around at all..

How many points? I didn't think you got points unless you were way over the limit. The cops usually give you some BS about doing you a favor and putting a lower speed so you don't get points. They WANT you to pay the ticket and just keep it moving. Revenue.

how many threads are there on BGOL, that talks about a dash cam?

they make dash cams with GPS (mph)

I crashed into a deer on the PIP about 2 weeks ago in April. That's why i even got the ticket on the speeding ticket. Usually, when im driving in my car, i have Waze playing over the speakers, so i never get any tickets. Waze has been saving my life for the past 2 years until i had to get a sack ass rental.

All moving violations hit you with points. The worse the violation the more points.

You got caught by PIP police?

I thought they disbanded those clowns Lmaoo

Ummm pay it... Only time that shit shows up in your license is if you get suspended and the town in NJ issue you a warrant for your arrest.

After u pay it take a defensive driver course to get a discount on your insurance

The state of NY and NJ are signatories to the Drivers License Compact and the Nonresident Violator Compact agreement. What this means for you?

-NY already knows about the violation but they will not assess you points on your license for an out of state moving violation. However, you will have to deal with the probability of higher insurance rates if you DO NOT fight the ticket. Paying the fine, in the eyes of the insurance world, means assuming guilt and it will show up as a conviction once paid.

-The issue will come up when NJ, if you have not paid the fine, requests that NY suspend your license until you pay the out of state ticket....never mind the possibility that the local municipality where the ticket was issued may issue a warrant for your arrest as well. NYS has an obligation to grant New Jersey's request. Basically, if you choose to ignore the shit you'll have a instant fuck up with a license suspension and ticket on your record. I would say just pay it but honestly, I would fight for a waiver so it does not go on your MVR record.

This is from licensed agent for both NY and NJ.

Im not fully sure if you did anything or not.... but there maybe a way avoid points by overpaying the ticket.. and when they send you a check of the amount overpaid ... you don't cash it... I'm not fully sure of the particular details but google it i definitely read this loophole somewhere

No points on your NY License but you do have to pay the ticket. Go invest $50 in a Radar Detector, it's worth it

in fact....here

I never got a ticket using mine....
Going up to Woodbury Commons I would often do 100+ on the Palisades
they like to hide in the woody sides to catch drivers. My Radar detector
lets me know at least 1/2 mile before I get to them

You need to slow yo ass the fuck down. If he is lying, then go to court for the ticket. He will have to slow proof that you were clocked at that, and he will have to show that his speed gun is calibrated too. If you are innocent and not going that speed then you will get off. That faggot ass Dr Truth would prolly love to get you off.

Not quite sure what a deer has to do with it but okay. And go to a driving course or take it online for insurance relief.

All moving violations hit you with points. The worse the violation the more points.

You sure about that? Speeding under certain MPH and one or two other moving violations (can't remember which) carried no points last I knew.

Since i hit a deer, i had to get a rental while my car gets fixed (still getting fixed). The Maxima i got doesn't have bluetooth so i can play "WAZE" over the car speakers. WAZE is a crowd surfing app that's commandeered by regular people my us. They tell you about hazard and cops ahead of you. Through the 2 years i've been using WAZE, i've never gotten a ticket. The one time i've been without WAZE for 2 weeks, i've ended up with 3 tickets so far..

i have waze it doesnt play over my speakers...i have a suction cup holder that sits on the dash...and fuck a pos cobra better get you either a beltronics rx65 and up or escort or v1...Even as a leo we dont like to be stopped...it wastes their and my time when i have to show my creds while fishing my license out of my case and be on my way..lol

Automatically?

Yes.

In NY once you plead or are found guilty yes.
Unless you go to court and for some odd reason the judge says otherwise
The fines & points are usully on the back of NON parking tickets

This goes back to what I said about convictions.. If you pay, it'll show up for us as a conviction and most, if not all, insurance companies will be legally allowed to surcharge as high as state law allows.

Dude just contact an attorney that specializes in ticket fixing... it's simple and quick. You won't get points on your license and it will never show up on your driving record. It ain't that hard...damn.
