So that is the knowledge, here is the theory.

He will go on to blame Ukraine for the disaster claiming poor maintenance, servicing and management of the Chernobyll nuclear power plant, causing a nuclear disaster. Look how long it took the world to forget and forgive Russia/Ukraine when they had a nuclear accident 30+ years ago. Russia will resolve the crisis, and will claim that that was their legitimate reason for moving on Ukraine. The media go with it and the world accepts it, grateful that the ceasefire was announced before nuclear missiles were deployed!

Ukraine will become a nuclear waste ground, uninhabitable for centuries. Putin only needs the land to pass through in order to get oil and natural gas to the ports in the south of Ukraine. Ukraine can still function as a no man's land with a minimal human workforce to maintain the infrastructure required to keep the flow of oil and natural gas moving.

The US imported 21% of its gasoline from Russia in 2021, more than any other country in the world.

The back door deal the US most likely has with Russia is to gain control of Crimea, thanks to the Obama administration, secure Ukraine entirely and begin production making Russian gas and oil priority #1. Russia gets paid billions from the US and the oil keeps flowing out way. Both superpowers win and the literal grease for the machine keeps flowing.

This “US and her allies will mobilize and strike” rhetoric is just that, rhetoric. The US will send troops to the borders and all those boys will likely be doing is getting drunk off cheap Eastern European liquor and having a good ol time with the local ladies.

I understand that some radioactivity exist naturally underground, but the super high concentrations that a nuclear reactor creates are much more serious to deal with. So, I'm guessing it could make the oil much less valuable because few would want to handle it without very expensive equipment.

Yeah I read a good breakdown of this online. Russia wants Ukraine because it has access to the Black Sea which ports can be set up to connect to the Mediterranean. This is considered a warm port since the northern coastal area of Russia is cold and mostly frozen year round.
