From what I’m reading that’s in a different universe.
This will be a true sequel to Ghostbusters 2
I hope they have Egon and Janine’s son... Annie Potts is game to come back. They could even partially acknowledge a little of the animated show by having her take up the proton pack. Then have Egon’s son be the one trying to stand up to the legacy of his father.

They played different people.
