Trayvon Martin’s killer is still taking shots at him.

George Zimmerman showed again that his lack of remorse over the shooting death of the unarmed teen knows no bounds, taunting the boy’s mother and father for being lousy parents.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, Zimmerman shifted the blame for Martin’s death on his grieving parents .

“They didn’t raise their son right,” Zimmerman said. “He attacked a complete stranger and attempted to kill him.”

But Zimmerman’s shocking insult didn’t stop there. The wannabe cop rubbed salt on the parents’ wounds and kicked dirt on the boy’s grave by questioning their love for their slain son.

“Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin did everything they could to capitalize on her son’s death,” Zimmerman said.

“She was never a mother figure to him. Tracy Martin couldn’t have cared less about their son. He treated him like a dog without a leash.”

Trayvon Martin, while visiting his father in Sanford, Florida, was shot to death Feb. 26 2012 after Zimmerman followed him, defying a police dispatcher’s order to back down and wait for police.

Zimmerman had called cops because he thought the hooded Martin, 17, looked suspicious.

Moments later, Zimmerman got into an altercation with Martin that ended with Zimmerman, the coordinator of a local neighborhood watch, firing a 9 mm bullet into the teen’s chest.

“It is what was used to save my life from a near-death brutal attack by Trayvon Martin,” Zimmerman said of the gun. “If it was a stick or mace, it’s the one tool I had that prevented Trayvon from killing me.”

Zimmerman had a bloody nose and lacerations on the back of his head.

Nevertheless, Zimmerman was acquitted in 2013.

Last week, Zimmerman put the gun that killed Martin up for auction, requesting $100,000, but he said he had no concern about how it made Martin’s parents feel.

“Sure I’m sorry for any parent that has lost a child,” Zimmerman said.

“That being said, I also believe it’s their duty to have an internal dialogue to see what they should have done better and what they should have done appropriately.”

Anyone can put up their own podcast, so that is a possibility, but I can't see him making much money. I don't think the demand is there anymore. SiriusXM or a cable network without sponsors may be able to do it, but I don't think the dragging they would get would be worth it to them. I guess it depends on how diverse their consumer base is though.

I think a lot of the support Zimmerman got was because of the comments Obama made about if he had a son he would look like Trayvon. He is leaving office soon, and won't be a focal point, so the demand for Zimmerman is only going to be there with the truly hardcore racists. Some who supported and believed him initially no longer do, especially after his run ins with the law since the trial.

There is this one girl I follow on twitter, white girl by the way, HUGE Obama supporter. She used to do picture diaries about his presidency on dailykos. Anyway, she made a comment once about how the shootings of black men target President Obama by proxy. She said they would love to kill Obama, but since they can't they kill other black men. She said they are scared of the new America he represents, but since they can't get near him, the Mike Brown's and Trayvon Martin's will have to do.

Her comments stayed with me because they rang true and we have had SO MANY shootings of unarmed black people. Social media has allowed us to see national trends when it comes to stuff like this, but I think it was more than just hearing about what would normally have stayed local news or un/under reported. There is seriously a surge since he has been in office. I used to follow these deaths closely, but it's been traumatic. I know it's not the same as actually going through it, but it just got to be too much for my psyche. I try to read about them to stay informed, but I can't watch the videos anymore.

I have read, Tracy, that you are a Christian. Does not the God of Christianity promise to avenge the murder of his Son by anyone who has not repented? Does not the Bible say, "Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for a friend." How much more than a friend is a son who was attacked, murdered, had the photo of his lifeless body paraded as a trophy online, and has his killer mocking him?

I hope I am wrong about you, Tracy. I hope you have spent the years since the murder of your son practicing and mastering the plan. I hope the members of you Masonic Lodge are at the ready to pay for your legal defense and provide for your family in your absence--whether you must become a fugitive, a convict, or a martyr. There is no one on the planet who is more justified than you to do what is necessary--no one who is more likely to garner both the sympathy and the praise of a significant portion of the public. You can longer protect Trayvon's life, but you still have a responsibility to protect his dignity.
