Fucking COWARDS. Democrats go apoplectic on black Congresswoman for describing how AIPAC work

So the Dem stance should be fuck the Jews. Their greedy money is slimy. Got it.

She could say all that shit as an activist. If she wanted to keep throwing bombs, she shouldn’t have run for office. Same for Trump. We call him out on the daily. Even though lots of Republicans agreed with his “both sides” in Charlottesville, they didn’t defend him saying it because they can’t.

You know this shit bruh.
 Who said for them to say 'fuck Jews'? Calling out having too much power is saying 'fuck (insert group'? No. It's checking the fucking influence. Checking Jewish influence isn't anti-Semitic. It's not 'fuck Jews'.

It's just right. It's what I expect from any honest American politician. Fuck does checking them having too much power have to do with activism? Expecting politicians to not cover for a group that has too much power is now activism. Wow. Pleas aways copped for fuckery when democrats engage in it. :smh:

You are well aware the alt-right talks about globalist jews controlling the world with money. They make memes and cartoons about it. I’m all for her criticizing Isreal. She also has to be smart.

Between Ocasio Cortez and her new deal and this shit, Trump’s approval has risen 6-7 points in a week. He’s up to 44% which is close to his all time high. I’m not about to go through 4 more years of trump bullshit because these new dems can’t take a minute to lear before running their mouths.

McConnel is going to call a vote on the green new deal to make dems choose to vote against an environmental deal or vote to outlaw gasoline. People told her to cool her jets for a minute, but she won’t listen to anybody and now the whole caucus is going to have to deal with this. She could have easily just said Isreal does many things I disagree with and this must be looked into by the senate along with the influence it has on our politics. Not a simple person could hit her for that.

And as this article points out, it’s not AIPAC that gives Isreal their power in the US government. It’s the Christian right.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

you can't be fucking serious.

The head of AIPAC was caught on tape bragging about their influence on US politicians. It's AIPAC themselves that are radicalizing the Christian to right to turn them into some sort of fascist protector of the Israel state.

https://theintercept.com/2019/02/11/ilhan-omar-israel-lobby-documentary/

A DEBATE ABOUT the power in Washington of the pro-Israel lobby is underway, after Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., responded sharply to reports that Republican leader Kevin McCarthy was targeting both Omar and fellow Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat from Michigan.

Omar quoted rap lyrics — “It’s all about the Benjamins baby” — to suggest McCarthy’s move was driven by the lobby’s prolific spending. Asked specifically who she was referring to, Omar responded, “AIPAC!”

The debate over the influence of pro-Israel groups could be informed by an investigation by Al Jazeera, in which an undercover reporter infiltrated the Israel Project, a Washington-based group, and secretly recorded conversations about political strategy and influence over a six-month period in 2016. That investigation, however, was never aired by the network — suppressed by pressure from the pro-Israel lobby.

In November, Electronic Intifada obtained and published the four-part series, but it did so during the week of the midterm elections, and the documentary did not get a lot of attention then.

In it, leaders of the pro-Israel lobby speak openly about how they use money to influence the political process, in ways so blunt that if the comments were made by critics, they’d be charged with anti-Semitism.
David Ochs, founder of HaLev, which helps send young people to American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s annual conference, described for the reporter how AIPAC and its donors organize fundraisers outside the official umbrella of the organization, so that the money doesn’t show up on disclosures as coming specifically from AIPAC. He describes one group that organizes fundraisers in both Washington and New York. “This is the biggest ad hoc political group, definitely the wealthiest, in D.C.,” Ochs says, adding that it has no official name, but is clearly tied to AIPAC. “It’s the AIPAC group. It makes a difference; it really, really does. It’s the best bang for your buck, and the networking is phenomenal.” (Ochs and AIPAC did not immediately return The Intercept’s requests for comment.)

Without spending money, Ochs argues, the pro-Israel lobby isn’t able to enact its agenda. “Congressmen and senators don’t do anything unless you pressure them. They kick the can down the road, unless you pressure them, and the only way to do that is with money,” he explains.

He describes a fundraiser for Anthony Brown, a Democrat running for Congress in Maryland, as typical. “So we want the Jewish community to go face to face in this small environment, 50, 30, 40 people, and say, ‘This is what’s important to us. We want to make sure that if we give you money, that you’re going to enforce the Iran deal.’ That way, when they need something from him or her, like the Iran deal, they can quickly mobilize and say look, we’ll give you 30 grand. They actually impact,” Ochs tells the reporter.

Such a claim is not so different from what Omar was describing, and for which she was roundly condemned. In the wake of Omar’s tweets, the Washington Post, for instance, reported, “The American Jewish Committee demanded an apology, calling her suggestion that AIPAC is paying American politicians for their support ‘demonstrably false and stunningly anti-Semitic.’” (On Monday, Omar apologized for her tweets, but insisted that AIPAC and other lobbyist groups are harmful to U.S. politics.)

The Christian right owns one of the two political parties in this country AIPAC has influence, but Republicans can get elected without AIPAC. they cannot get elected without the Christian right.

How many Jews have been put on the Supreme Court to dictate the law? Two christians have been hand picked because they delievered the Presidency to Trump. How many jews have been elected president?

For a group that holds so much power, they can’t even get their people elected. Hell, besides Bernie, name three jewish senators.

Stop making it out like Jews run everything in this country.

Jewish influence doesn’t hold a candle to the influence of the Christian right in this country. They’re about to get Roe vs Wade overturned. AIPAC couldn’t do that.

Nope... keep watching homie.... Do me a favor and stop pretending that the Republicans are our biggest obstacle in getting the country to turn more liberal. ...
Thanks.

If one of those so called Christian's said some shit that could be deemed anti semitic...lol..

From open secrets ....
Despite stereotypes that people of faith are often conservative and frequently Republicans, since the 1990 election cycle 54 percent of contributions from individuals associated with religious associations and the clergy have gone to Democrats. They made nearly $1.6 million in political contributions during the 2014 election cycle, with 62 percent going to Democrats and 38 percent to Republicans.

This is how AIPAC really works..

One thing that should be said about Representative Ilhan Omar’s tweet about the power of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (more commonly known as AIPAC, or the “Israel lobby”) is that the hysterical reaction to it proved her main point:
Big Tex..

The power of AIPAC over members of Congress is literally awesome, although not in a good way.

What the alt-right got to do with this? Every fucking presidential debate has an Israel question right up there before important domestic issues. It's sickening. Enough with them already. Trump's basically told every country on earth to go fuck itself BUT Israel.

AOC is something else altogether. Trump must fall to his knees every fucking night and thank some deity for AOC. She is going to give the other side so many fucking quotables over the next 18 months it ain't even funny.

There is no obstacle. You put your views out there and people vote. Don’t blame anyone else that the majority of the country doesn’t want their private health insurance taken away and don’t want their taxes raised. You have to make the point to get them to agree with it.

Your answers so far is to get the goverment to force everyone to do it. That’s not very persuasive. All your politics have done since the new congress has come on is put Trump near his all time high.

But this will all be put to the test. Republicans will bring the green new dela up and force a vote and let’s see if it’s just the mean, non-zealot dems that are holding you back.

Dude really said, how many people of color in the Democratic Party vs Republican Party....acting like thats a good thing.

You have one party that hates black people vs the party that depends on our votes but wont do anything for us,while doing everything in their power to do shit for them.

And,then you have the obvious coons vs the coons that want to include every group into our struggle....shit makes no sense at all.

It's time for us as a people to call out the Democratic Party on their fuckery..
They have repeatedly been called out over the last 6 years. Where the fuck have you been

None of you closet Trump supporters never give a realistic alternative to the Democratic Party. Which leads us exactly where we are. The party hating Black people contols the government and every day making Black lives and every other non wealthy person worse off.

I knew it!!!@@
You're a god Damn Republican. So are you saying the mean non-zealot dems are in alignment with Republicans on 80% of the issues? FINALLY....One of you so called Democrats openly admitting that shit. :bravo:. All you cats that keep trying to tell these people that there is very little difference between the 2 parties...looks like Tex is letting the cat out of the bag.

Nope. I’m a Dem that wants a public option that everyone pays into then if people want private insurance, it’s their right. I believe we need to move towards renewable energy, but I don’t believe in making gasoline illegal in 10 years.

You just proved you’re a zealot. You believe only you are right, only you know the truth, everyone else is a republican nonbeliver that must be defeated.

You’re the one that said that once you get all Dems that don’t believe like you out of the party, the country will agree with you and start voting far left. You believe your views are so righteous that massess will sweep far left progressives to power across the country. If you just get other people out of the way.

That’s textbook zealotry.

She still going hard at those Israel puppets. She ain't backing down. One thing for sure. Republican politicians and democrat politicians love Israel.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and top Democrats are confronting a new controversy this week involving freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has defied her colleagues’ calls to apologize for recent comments viewed as anti-Semitic.

Public scrutiny over the Minnesota Democrat intensified over the weekend as two of the House’s most senior Democrats condemned Omar’s remarks accusing pro-Israel advocates of “allegiance to a foreign country.” And the problem threatens to get worse for Democratic leaders, with Omar refusing her colleagues' calls to retract her statements.

House Appropriations Chairwoman Nita Lowey on Sunday called out Omar’s use of “offensive, painful stereotypes” — leading to an awkward Twitter clash as Omar dug in on her comments and was cheered by some on the left.

Members of the Democratic caucus spent the weekend privately debating how to handle the freshman’s latest controversy involving accusations of anti-Semitism. Just three weeks earlier, Pelosi and her top lieutenants issued a rare public rebukeof Omar’s previous remarks that suggested pro-Israel groups were using their financial heft to shape U.S.-Middle East policy.
