Nah. You got to remember Em is still a beast. They tried that shit with Bubba Sparks under that same machine and you see where that shit went. put nash on the hawks his ppg would go up but his assist would be down. kinda like 21ppg & 9 ast the hawks would be a top 3 team in the east. he already know hows to play with joe johnson and joe can create his own shots him being there would elevate a kid like josh howard in to all-star status. i can say the same for toronto or the t-wolves. nash and jason kidd are playmakers there jobs is 2 make guys look good and better.

Just because they have been givin it to players that were both defensive as well as offensive doesn't mean thats how they view it now. I believe nowadays, especially in Nash's case, it's all about who impacts the game the MOST. Thats why Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James and others can easily be discussed when mentioning MVP because they all impact the game in major ways. Look at Ben Wallace. Not an offensive player in the least, and DEFINITELY not when he was on the Pistons. But that cat was a MEAN mutha on defense and had that defensive player award locked down. As basketball and other sports get older, so does the understanding of it. People originally thought back in the day that being a great and valuable player was all about being both defensive and offensive. Now people are seeing that you don't HAVE to be both is your so good in your area that it makes a massive difference in the team.
