The chemistry is definitely aligned with them. RC brings the broadcast journalist edge that he’s acquired with his time on ESPN etc.; Channing brings the goofy locker room banter, Fred brings the sensei type vibe with his demeanor. The one thing is that all share the room. What I mean is that no one takes a backseat to the other. Everybody rocks. On I Am Athlete, they truly rocked with each other, but now that they’ve separated, you can see where the original show had its dents in the armor. Most of us can agree that Fred’s presence was highly under utilized. He should’ve had more of a voice. I know that can be challenging when you have boisterous voices around you, so he just got in where he fit in most times.
Look at the last few guest ie Marshawn, Floyd and even Taylor; the energy wouldn’t have been the same on IAA. The energy on Pivot allows guest to get more personal. It’s just lounging with the fellas talking about all facets of life. IAA had more of a production feel to it. I love IAA, but seeing how the Pivot works fits to what I like to see.
