France Urged to Pay $40 Billion to Haiti for "Independence Debt"!

Calls are now growing for another form of payment to Haiti: reparations. This week, a group of prominent academics and activists published an open letter calling on France to repay an "independence debt" it imposed nearly 200 years ago after Haiti successfully won independence from France. Haiti was forced to pay France around 90 million gold francs up until World War II, which after interest and inflation is valued today at up to $40 billion dollars.



Amerikkka too was in on it. Just imagine asking people to pay you for their independence. Racist/white supremacists surely have the nerve. Most white folks saw nothing wrong in enslaving non white people... :smh: :angry::angry: :smh:

The letter is being published at a time when the international community is coming under increasing criticism for failing to send aid money pledged at the international donors’ conference in March. According to the UN-sponsored Haiti Reconstruction Fund, only two countries—Brazil and Estonia—have paid the fully pledged amount, while the United States, France, Canada and others have failed to send their pledged aid to Haiti.

Pledge money for the TV cameras and for show, don't pay when people are not looking.

Reparations? We can't even get parity in the United States on jobs, education, healthcare, and prison. 1.3 million jobs are being skimmed off, jacking black unemployment to 16 percent.

France needs to pay $1 trillion to Haiti, all the wealth they got from slave labor. Britain needs to come out of pocket for slavery in the United States, they bought all the cotton up encouraging slavery to continue.

Like i mentioned earlier, France will start "talking" about improving trade relations or better yet, the white folk their will agree to the rebuilding HAITI (the infrastructure and what have you) but using "Amerikkkan" and/or "French" companies and/or labor. And this Sir, will result to them directly and indirectly profiting. Let's not forget, "these people" are very deceitful. No group on the UNIVERSE is as deceitful as the white people that practice racism/white supremacy.

i remember as a kid my father talking to his fellow homies bout this and his exact words were "fuck the french, fuck a reparations, lets just focus on us"

Sir, there is no evidence to support your statement. Why? France has not paid the $40 Billion. Other than that, the racist/white supremacists did/still have similar views about black people in regard to reading and/or education. They were disappointed when they realized that their views and/or perception of black people were/was wrong. So what did they do, THEY SET UP A GLOBAL, NATIONAL and LOCAL system of RACISM/WHITE SUPREMACY. If black people were truly "inferior" then there would be no need for a system of RACISM/WHITE SUPREMACY. That's the logic.

Why should haitians get money from work put in on Martinique and French Guyana too? The French need to make them an Overseas department and be done with it.

These people get full backing from the French government to run their states as themselves, but also get the full privileges of French citizenship.

Of course there is. Look at their infrastructure prior to the earthquake. Look at how they sell their children in to slavery. Look at how they live 15+ deep to an out-house. Look at how corrupt their gov't is. They haven't made any attempts whatsoever for a better way of life. Haitians are on the road to no where. Putting 40 Bill in their hands will just get them there faster.

Yes Sir, that's an option. Then the IMF, WORLD BANK and the World Trade Organization would step in with their restrictions, laws, policies and what have you. Mind you that all these organizations are aimed at maintaining white global hegemony. Now, if the restrictions, laws and policies don't work then the next result is VIOLENCE...

No. In regard to the infrastructure in Haiti, please click on the link (Source) above and the Gentleman (I believe his name is Jean Saint-Vil) explains why Haiti's infrastructure is in the state that it is/was in prior to the earthquake.

I have heard many non white people say this, but another question needs to be posed. And the question is, "DO THEY WANT US TO FOCUS ON US". Keep in mind that this system is based on a "POWER RELATION". "Amerikkka" vs. "Cuba", "Europe" vs. "Afrika"... The dominant power relation is between white and non white people.
